We have always enjoyed Roaring Fork over the years. We usually did happy hour in the bar, but we couldnt get a Saturday reservation unless we did dinner in the the open covered patio area which says "climate controlled".. It was not climate controlled and it was 104 degrees. Our friends ordered the pork chops which had to be sent back as they were somewhat raw in the middle. It took 3 tries for them to get our burgers right. After the 2nd burger wasn't done right, the manager (?) came with an attitude to see exactly how I wanted my $18.00 burger cooked. I explained it was raw meat inside, not rare. He said rare is raw. I specifically told the sweet waiter I wanted rare, not raw. theres a difference. husband ordered medium rare and it was no different than my raw burger. Next try, the burgers both came well done; back they went.... thats when the mgr. came to our table lecturing me on rare/raw meat. we were sent free fries to keep us busy while we waited. the 3rd burgers came, and were done fine, but now mine tasted as though they dumped a container of pepper on the meat. I decided to keep my mouth shut, and just wouldn't eat it. we were then told by the waiter that we would be comped 50% off our bill. Although we appreciated it, it was still $$44.00 for a bloody Mary, wings appetizer, and a comped order of fries to appease us which seemed like a lot. The biggest turnoff though, was the manager's attitude, which will keep us from going back.
Service was excellent. Food was properly prepared. Disappointed that the seasonal dessert of Peach Cobbler ran out by 7 PM!! We sat in the back of the restaurant so the noise level was under control.
Ate outside and it was very comfortable, even in 100° weather!

The menu is full of unique items, definitely not ordinary. Anything with green chili, especially the macaroni and cheese and pork are delicious.
Been eating at the Roaring Fork for over a decade, the food and service has always been consistent and awesome. The wait staff are so friendly and helpful, Daryl is the best ever!

Had dinner and drinks in bar. Double cut Pork Chop was incredible. Service an A+ as always
The menu is varied, our party had 2 filet mignon (tender done correctly and tasty), salmon and a huge pork chop (that was flavorful but a little tough). One drink from the bar was incorrect but was corrected without question. Key Lime tart and creme brulle very tasty...also try the corn bread!
