Placed order at 5:16. Site said it would be ready at 5:31. When I got there my food was in a bag under heat lamps. A few minutes went by and an employee came and asked me my name. He then went to the heat lamp, unpacked the order and then just left it all there unpacked. Then wandered back behind the kitchen. Then another employee came and looked through the food and left it there. 5 minutes later I was still standing there. Another couple came in, another employee took there order. I asked him. Finally my order came at 5:41. Yes, it was the food that had been sitting there the whole time. The spring rolls were burnt. No broccoli in the Korean beef I paid extra for. Employees who did not have an assigned role and did not know what they were doing. We will not be back. I do not need to discuss it with anyone. Not giving it a second chance.
Good food but the portions are shrinking, and the price is rising.Sign of the times?
Stoped in for dinner. Wow. Ashley took our order and even served our order. This girl WORKS. She seems to be taking, delivering to the tables, and cleaning up. She does it all. We even tipped her. Food was cooked correctly. Sad that they took away the cool soda machine and no more chai iced brewed tea sad?could use a remodel. The owner should really be fixing this, everyone knows that Paul Fleming can afford to do this but is to busy enjoying his money elsewhere. The place needs a total physical makeover. Been going here for 16 years and still looks the same except worn out now. Some of the benches you bottom out when you sit in them. Color schematics are outdated. Needs a fresh trendy appeal like it was meant to be. It has great stir fry dishes, but now have to eat in plastic bowls and plastic forks. So sad. Really miss the in-dining experience on plates with real metal forks. Eating wonton soup out of a plastic tub with a plastic spoon just doesn’t work or taste the same. The owner is at fault here, not Covid. This once little gem was thriving, but since maintenance has declined, I’m sure this will become part of the past soon too.
Don’t order to go from here EVER! I would give a 0 rating if it could. I never right reviews but this was unacceptable.I ordered a meal and they made it completely wrong. No worries. It happens during the dinner rush but when I called to get it fixed they were very rude and hung up on me. I had to argue with them to remake it. I then drove all the way back, got my order (which looks correct with a quick glance) and went home. When I went to eat it, it was wrong, again. When I called the gentleman, he told me he can’t deal with me, It’s too busy. I then drove back with my dish to show them it was wrong and they got annoyed, agreed it was wrong and made a big deal about it. When cooking the meal they were yelling and laughing the order as they made it. Looking at their other reviews, this seems to be an issue. Save yourself the hassle. Eat at a local Asian restaurant like instead.
So, if you are going to order carry out make sure your order is correct. This is the second time I picked up an order and it was missing food. The first time pot stickers were missing, called and they said “sorry” come back another time and we will give you an order free of charge. Actually not free since I paid for them. When I went back the next time they said sorry they have no record of the mistake so I was out of luck. This time came home and I had white rice instead of the noodles I paid extra for and also paid extra for peanuts that were also missing. Asked for the mustard sauce and that was missing as well. When I called back again was told “sorry” come back for a free entree. They take no information so I know I willnot see that free entree in this lifetime. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE! I will not be back ?
Terrible. One person working hard, being way overworked. Online ordering system was down and my order was ultimately messed up.
Third time I've gone no ody inside and took 22 minutes to get won ton soup chicken lettuce wraps and egg roll. I asked for my money back then the guy working to get orders out shouted start my order. From there it took 2 minutes. I asked why the long wait said busy due to online orders. First I'm in the store you take care of the customer in front of you. Tired if the pei wei at the summit. I've been there and told out if orange sauce or out if noodles really but waiting hell no. Will go to Panda Express b4 I ever go back to pei wei. In area their us Jade Palace and Sesame Inn. Pei wei at the summit can't handle the business lets go elsewhere.
You know, it is a fast food place more or less so I am not going to be super picky about the quality of the food. To me it is good and convenient. If I wanted a top notch Chinese place would I come here? Not likely, but for a convenient quick bite absolutely. I have eaten at other Pei Wei Diners in the past and this basically lived up to those experiences.
So sad. Our local Chinese food location shut down so we tried Pei Wei tonight. The crab puffs were so fishy. Our fried rice was mushy. We paid extra for shrimp and had 3 shrimp in our order.Everyone has bad nights. I hope to have a better experience next time!
Unfortunately this is the second time we have ordered take out from this location and the chicken did not taste right. I ordered the Pei Wei Kung Pao chicken and it tasted as if it was old or had been re-fired in the wok.We place our orders ahead and say we want to pick up at a certain time, it appears they may just be preparing the food the moment they receive the ticket and so it sits for a while and gets cold. Not sure what the issue is but after two times I will just find another place to go. The rice was OK. My mom's food in the order the chicken with broccoli leaked all over the bag because they placed it in one of those white cardboard containers. Not anyone's fault but maybe don't use those containers for things with a sauce.
