There was no one there but me (now I know why) and one other person eating. I ordered a "tofu vegetable" Pad Thai; which tofu always automatically came with Pad Thai anyways. I mentioned three times tofu. Not only did they forget the tofu, there was hardly any vegetables! It was also a bit sweet.I remember Pei Wei always busy, generous with their fixings and on the ball! What happened?
These people are fantastic. The manager and cashier and Cooks all bust their bucks to make sure that we have consistent and healthy products! They have a smile on their face and treat you with dignity.
Ordered online for pickup and it was ready on time. You can easily pick up on shelves inside. Food tasted fresh and I thought the portion sizes were good. A few of my friends thought the Lo Mein was too sweet. It was a bit sweet, from the sauce. Other than that, I thought it was good for lunch. We ordered the family plate to all share. The Thai donuts were also very good!
We placed an office order from here today and I must say a few of us were very disappointed with the chicken fried rice and pork egg rolls. The rice was slimy, the best I can describe the texture. The chicken was extremely plain with NO FLAVOR and in large pieces. The pork egg rolls were rubbery. Not even sure what kind of meat was in there. Unfortunately we just tossed it in the trash :(
Sick to my stomach. Ordered Polynesian poke bowl for lunch and asked to have the sushi rice in a separate container than in the salad. She said no problem. Came to pick it up and see the photos of exactly how it came. Literally looks like the kitchen staff dug their fingers in the salad and dumped a bunch of it in the rice container then just tossed around the rest in the bowl. Went straight in the garbage ?
I ordered the firecracker chicken and posted the picture of the menu picture and then a picture of what I received. Can you say false advertising?Think it’s worth $10? I don’t. They raised the price and reduced the amount of chicken. When I asked them about it the server basically confirmed it.
Placed an order online for fire cracker tofu well done and extra spicy. Once I was home and unpacked the order I noticed that it did not look like tofu and had a family member try it and sure enough I received an order of fire cracker chicken NOT tofu. I tried calling the restaurant so they could start making the correct order while I drove back and I wouldn’t have to wait for it to be made after I arrived. After waiting 6 minutes on the phone for someone to answer I was greeted by a gentleman who I informed that my order I just picked up was incorrect and he placed me on hold right away with out asking what the item was or how it could be corrected. Upon arrival I found out the gentleman I spoke to was the manager and his excuse on why the order was made incorrectly was that they were training new cooks and did not properly read the order ticket.
This PeiWei was slammed, and not only did they deal with people's nasty attitudes with grace, they made our food perfectly. People need to realize that when those to-go orders all come through at the same time, your food will not be done in ten minutes with only 2 cooks.
It's been awhile since I got to eat here I highly recommend the lettuce wraps and the snicker doodles cookies. I also highly recommend being employ here .
