Our family was in town for a graduation at ASU and decided to take a family of 9 for breakfast before heading home. Mind you our family travels a lot. However, at this particular restaurant, everyone was disappointed with their meal. It took forever for the food to come out and almost cold when it did came out. The food was not tasty at all. The home potatoes looked burned & overcooked, water had an after taste to it, corn beef hash was dry and had maybe three little potatoes in there. The coconut waffle was not as it was supposed to be. It was an undercooked regular waffle without coconut in the mix itself, like the menu said. They sprinkled coconut shredding on the top and even offered apricot syrup or jelly like as a tropical syrup instead of an actual coconut syrup. Maybe I should send them a sample of what a coconut syrup should be. I would not recommend this place at all. Take your money somewhere else.
Best pancakes ever!!!!! Would’ve taken picture sooner but it was too good
Food, staff and quality were great! There was about a 10 minute wait. We ordered corned beef hash with over-easy eggs and sourdough toast. Also the spicy chicken breakfast sausage plate. It did take about another 20 minutes to receive the food, but worth the wait. We were very pleased overall. Our server Christina was also very pleasant. We will definitely go back despite it being nearly a 45 minute drive for us.
Of our whole vacation in Arizona and all the fancy pants dinners, we looked the most forward to getting up and walking over to the original pancake house for awesome coffee and a delicious breakfast. Reasonable prices considering the great service and food. Very clean also. Thank you Pancake House for helping me get up early! Couldn't wait to get there! Very relaxed and casual so we can flip on a hat, order breakfast and talk about our daily plans over some good Joe.
Quick service and a great breakfast.
Drove up from Green Valley, Az. to meet my sister I haven’t seen in 9 years. She was heading back home to S.C, we had breakfast here at the Original Pancake House , the food and atmosphere was great, also the service was great . My sister saved a little bit of her ham for her dog Molly.
Only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated which was great in such a busy restaurant. Had a comfy booth. Great, classic diner atmosphere. Food was very filling, I was stuffed :) Tasted great and coffee was yummy!
If there is a wait when you arrive, It is worth the wait! Best breakfast ever. Service is always great, but the food is phenomenal!
I am an AZ native but live out of state. My father took me here while my son and I were visiting. The service and the food is top notch! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice quiet place to eat some real home cooked meals.
The service and food were wonderful so, thank you all! Sure you might remember us coming in Wednesday 12-22. I was with my 7ft tall husband and very tall son. I did love the apple cinnamon pancake.
