My favorite bagel and bialy place had a wonderful breakfast. I really like their potatoes
Food was great.... But being our first time there we did not know that we order from the table. Waiter and waitress got rather upset that we had already ordered from the cash register. Won't be going back to this place due to employee attitudes.
Major decline in quality over the years. My wife and I used to LOVE going here, we even had part of our wedding catered by them. We visited twice in the past few weeks as we hadn't been in a long time and were craving some of their great food. The first visit was majorly disappointing; we thought maybe it was a fluke, but the second visit was just as frustrating. They offer a lot less on their menu than previously, the quality of the food has declined, the portions shrunk significantly, and both times we had to dispute incorrect charges. I wish that I could recommend NYBB as it used to be our "go-to" brunch location, but I highly recommend you go somewhere else. We won't be coming back ?.
I absolutely adore this place. Not only are the people who own it involved in the everyday life of the company but they have been a staple in the valley for years. I found out AJ's fine food and others source their bagles daily. That's a great business model if I ever seen one ? lol.
Stopped by, as we were looking for an outdoor patio place that accepted dogs. Ordered some egg dishes and bagels. Bagels were okay, meager cream cheese with them. Food tasted okay, but outside patio area seemed a little dirty. Minh was our server and he did a nice job. Very attentive.
Went here for breakfast and was sadly disappointed. The food was very bland and had almost no flavor. The waiter seemed irritated with us for some reason. From the moment we got there, and seemed ok with others. Shortly after receiving our food he quickly got us our check. That was the only real service he provided for us.
Great bagel
We got the egg-a-bagel pile up, and the challah french toast with banana walnut caramel. Both were perfect! All the elements of the bagel pile up were fresh and crisp, and the challah french toast had the most perfect texture (crispy, fluffy, and moist all at once). I only wish there was more butter with the French toast, because the butter was really delicious. Our server was also super friendly and patient.
Friendly and helpful staff . Great place to get a good sandwich with the works to go or eat in. Not cheap but sandwiches were excellent. So nice to find a casual place for a quick bite. We took ours on the plane home and it was so nice to have good food on a plane trip. Not totally New York but pretty close.
I walked into the store minutes before closing (It is Passover this evening) and was greeted warmly despite my bad timing. I wish I knew the name of the employee who helped me but she made sure I left with a dozen of my choosing, even though I hadn't pre-ordered on such a busy day. Service and quality can't be beat!
