Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food in this restaurant. The food is cooked fresh to order and perfection. Our group of 3-4 families loved every dish we ordered, Tandoori Chicken, Chilli Pakora, Lamb Achari Masala, Kadai Chicken all were good. The Nan is the best in town - we tried the Chili Nan, Pesto Nan and Butter Nan - all of them so tasty and fresh. Never had this quality of Nan anywhere in town. The salt levels are in the lower side but easy to fix by adding some on top, the spice levels are as requested. Wonderful service too, our waiter was a young man, assume he is the son while their parents cook, he was very energetic and ensured everyone was taken care. We will be coming back soon especially for that Lamb Achari !!!

The glowing reviews are accurate! Namaste is a lovely family owed restaurant that just celebrated their one year anniversary. They have a large variety of choices for carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans alike, with options to make food mild, medium, hot (Indian level spicy) or Chef’s Hot (a test for the Scoville scale)! I ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala (hot!) and Garlic & Chili Naan. Not only was everything extremely authentic and high quality, and it was also perfectly spiced for someone who loves extra spicy food! Look forward to coming back next time I am in Scottsdale!

I have enjoyed Indian cuisine for many years, but today I visited what i consider the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Namaste Indian Restaurant is a fresh, well lit, open kitchen staffed by generous, kind people and filled will delicious and flavorful dishes. To begin our meal, my son and I ordered the mixed vegetables appetizer which is a crispy deep fried collection of various vegetables on a bed of chopped lettuce. Perfect, light and with 2 different dipping sauces. To go with our meals, we ordered their garlic naan bread, which was amazingly light and freshly made right out of a real stone oven.My meal was a traditional chicken tikka masala, served with a large portion of perfect wild long grain rice. The spices and flavors were exquisite. The amount of chicken was very generous and the addition of the peppers and onions in the sauce was delightful. The service was absolutely brilliant, being ready and attentive at any moment, the kimd staff were smiling and swift with the food, drinks and table service. From what I learned the staff is comprised of a family who owns and operates the eatery. It was an absolute joy to be with them and enjoy both their food and their hospitality.Oh, and as the meal was ending I ordered a second order of the delicious garlic naan bread. Wow. I will return! If you an opportunity to visit Namaste Indian Restaurant, I stongly encourage you to do so! You won't regret it!

Had dinner there last night, absolutely the best Indian food I have had in years, and I have been to India 20 times. Better than Leela Palace in Delhi. Spice levels were perfect, the meats cooked exactly right. It is very casual, so do not dress up. But get ready for excellent food. I will definitely be back.....

This is our favorite Indian Cuisine in the valley! The food always arrives fresh and piping hot to your table and the service is absolutely outstanding. We had the best waiter this evening - thank you for the amazing service and great recommendations! We will certainly be back!

This is our favorite Indian restaurant in the Phoenix area (and we've tried many). Food is very flavorful and the spice level is accurate - I like hot food and when I order it hot it's actually hot. Chef hot isn't crazy hot but has the kind of kick you'd expect if you were eating in India.

The best indian food. This is a new place that opened about 6 months ago. Service is very good. It was crowded when we got there, but that was expected for dinner on Friday. We called ahead, but they said we don't need reservation. They still seated us (a party of four) promptly. The beef vindaloo was excellent. The tikka tikka comes to our table piping hot and it was delicious. Butter chicken was good. One of the best Indian restaurant in north Scottsdale. One drawback in dining at the restaurant is the open kitchen cooking style and the inadequate exhaust system would requires an immediate shower when you get home. Consider that..!

Pros: Large menu, family owned, authentic Indian foodNegative: I had just one bad experience but I am commenting on it because they would not correct it. To forewarn others, they stand by the quality of their food so much that if there is something that is not up to your taste or standard, they will do nothing to replace it, or take it back. In my case the lentil soup had zero taste to it, no spice, it tasted like colored hot water. I brought it to the attention of the waitress, she told me it needed to be stirred, okay I did eat it immediately when she brought it to me, but I took her advice and stirred it. This only helped it a little bit but overall it was flavorless, maybe it was just that batch that day, not sure, but had to leave the full bowl there. She was very kind, but said that there’s is nothing they will do, they will not replace any food, or take back food items. We did enjoy all our other food dishes there.

My roommate and I tried Namste a few moths back since she works across the parking lot from them.We found that the food was delicious and some items were quite spicy (unexpectedly).Overall I found the food to be good, but the portions could have been better (at least for take out orders) and their prices could be a little more competitive with that of other Indian restaurants which are just as good or better for some items.

Only five months old, this little slice of India is as delectable as it is delightfully decorated. My mom started with the Aloo Tikki, followed by a Chicken Mulligatawny soup. I had the pictured Lamb Seekh Kebab wrap and saved half for later. Honestly, this is delicious and shockingly affordable and I cannot wait to go back to visit my folks in Scottsdale to have some more.
