Stumbled upon this place while waiting for the Scottsdale Trolley, and oh boy was that kismet. Truly delectable pulled pork with just enough burnt ends included was made even better when dipping it bite by bite into their sweet BBQ sauce. I had never heard of Carolina Cole Slaw and they ley me try a bit before committing to it, and it's delicious with a vinegar base as opposed to mayonnaise. The beans were good but a little watery, also made better when dipped in the BBQ sauce. The true standout was the corn bread though, with whole kernels in almost every bite it tasted like southern love and is why I'll come back as soon as I can. Looking forward to trying the brisket and/or the ribs next time.
Stopped by for lunch on a Friday afternoon. I ordered the 2 meat platter with pulled pork, brisket, Mac and cheese, and Carolina style coleslaw. I was warned that the Carolina coleslaw was sour and a bit spicy. They let me try a sample and it was delicious but definitely not for everyone. I will definitely return.
We came to NakedQ with a real estate group I am involved with that supports local restaurants. I have to say this is one of the very best barbecue places I’ve ever been to, and now I’ve been back three times… ? I highly recommend the chopped brisket and the mac & cheese obviously if you see the pictures you’ll see why! Don’t forget the Banana ? Pudding… Hands down the best BBQ ? I have ever had. Enjoy ?
First time here last night, my husband raved about it so I wanted to try. We drove all the way from Chandler. EXCELLENT FOOD all around! Clean restaurant that’s decorated nicely. Super friendly staff. The brisket was the most tender I have ever had, anywhere. Jalapeño hot links were also amazing! My husband got the ribs and was also happy. Sauces are delicious as well as the sides (try the mac and cheese & potato salad). Great portions for your money. $12-$15 for a one meat OR two meat plate with two sides plus corn bread?! That’s a steal. I highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
Best BBQ in Arizona. The Ribs and Pulled Pork are the star of the show… beans , cole slaw all fantastic. Very nice and polite staff. We did a catering as well with them and all of our guests were raving about how good everything was. 5 Star
First time here, great food! I’ve eaten BBQ all over the Country and this place is solid. Brisket was tender and had a great smoke flavor. The pulled pork was excellent. Beans could have more flavor, maybe add in some sauce but overall was delicious! Didn’t know they had pickles and onions so next time I’d get those.
Had a craving for some BBQ and found this little gem of a spot! Came in for lunch and boy was I surprised, nice decor and it smelled amazing walking in! I got the two meat plate with Turkey and Brisket and I was taken by surprise! They have all the traditional sides and the meat was tender and juicy! Will definitely be back & recommend to anyone that enjoys BBQ!
It was just OK. I grew up in Texas so I know BBQ well, and maybe I have high standards. But still. I got the brisket sandwich with a side of beans. The brisket had no flavor- I don’t believe it was actually smoked due to the lack of flavor. The beans where terrible and tasted like they came out of a can. I also got the spicy BBQ sauce which wasn’t spicy but actually pretty sweet with no spice.The brisket was tender, and the bun was nice and toasted. Overall this is just average BBQ at best.
They weren't kidding when they said award winning BBQ! Delicious foods and always super fresh! I've had BBQ all over the country and this is definitely one of the best! If you are in town, I highly recommend trying this gourmet style BBQ!
To be completely honest this may have been the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. The brisket was decent,corn bread was dry and bland,potato salad was literally chuncks of potato with a few pieces of celery in it and very little mustard and mayo mix,Mac and cheese was dry my dog quite enjoyed the food while I went to BObby q’s. The price was definitely not worth the quality of food. It needs some love for sure!
