Poor experience that caused me to walk out of my reservation. First, no one was at the front desk to greet me when I arrived. I waited awkwardly for bit, until finally someone rushed over to help me. When I was finally seated, the waitress gave me a quick run down of the menu â but before I could utter one word to ask about the menu, she hastily turned her back to me and started helping a nearby table and then disappeared. I have never had a waiter turn their back on me, especially at a fine restaurant, so I decided to walk out. Everyone seemed stressed and rushed â I bet they were understaffed, but I wasnât going to sit and shell out money for a hastened experience. I wanted to inform whoever was supposed to be stationed at the front desk thatâd Iâd be leaving, but again, no one was there. I had to flag down a lady working at the bar â she was rushing from the bar to the back room but she stopped for me and apologized that I was leaving. What a shame, since I had never dined at Mortonâs before and had hoped to have a good experience. I went to Dominickâs instead.
Great food, but our server belonged at Applebees.
First visit to Mortonâs, though we frequent other steakhouses in the area (Steak44, Eddie Vâs Dominickâs, etc) frequently. Overall, it was fine. Our steaks were cooked as expected. Service was on point, and paced perfectly. Very quiet, and a clubby atmosphere. Decor and ambience harkens back to a 1970âs/80âs steakhouse, complete with low lighting, dark wood, suitable seating, etc. A personâs opinion of Mortonâs compared to local competition will vary depending upon what you value most in a steakhouse experience.
It was excellent! The Prime Pork Chop was amazing and the sides of mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were generous and delicious. The staff were great!
Everything was excellent!! ðð»ðð» Very nice the lobter!!
I enjoyed Power Hour and the Bar Bites menu with two good friends. We were able to sit and laugh and relax over a three-hour period while enjoying classic cocktails perfectly made by bartender Joey and noshing on Morton's famous filet sliders, burgers and goat cheese/ marinara dip. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the music was great.
Jane was the best server I have ever had! She is wonderful. The wagyu stake is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this place.
