I ordered through Uber Eats and paid extra for certain ingredients that didn't show up in my order. On top of that, my $18 salad had only a few small pieces of chicken and ending up being mostly lettuce. There are a lot of better options in the area and I definitely don't think this place was worth the price.
First time ever ordering from this place.It was the worst salad I've ever had.I ordered the ahi tuna nicoise.The potatoes seemed like they were a week old, the tuna was like a tuna patty thing.Didn't taste fresh. Never again, waste of money. Yuck!
I’m tired of spending $16.00 on a salad that has brown lettuce and then no dressing. It had two small tomatoes and at least 20 croutons. I call and told them about the salad. They were sending me a free salad by e-mail which I never received. I’m done with them.
We ordered and SPECIFIED onion allergy in our order. The lady made a note. (Did a phone order.) Visited 1/13/22. Surprise! ONIONS. Please make sure you check your customer's allergies because this is a serious issue. Extremely disappointed.
Great place to have some healthy modern food. We had the chicken banh mi sandwich which was very flavourful and loved by our 10 year old picky eater. The selection of their gourmet lemonades is unique as well. We have tried breakfast from their location near old town Scottsdale when they first opened about 7-8 years ago.

Great place food is fresh. Salads are a good portion. Second time order on grub me they forgot to put the chicken on one of the salads. Salad was okay but forgetting the chicken wasn't great. That's the main ingredient to the salad and ?. Overall okay place to grab something. Great place to hang out with friends and family.
Huge piece of melted plastic In my toddlers man n cheese. After a very difficult, 25 minute order...seriously 25 minutes trying to get the girl to get our order correct. She was very nice and the computer was over charging us, so not her fault completely but it was a rough start, then my toddlers Mac n cheese arrived and when I stirred it, a huge 4" melted lid was sitting in the middle of the food. All melted in it!! I was shocked and livid that my baby was about it eat this toxic trash! The acted like it was no biggie and offered to make another. At this point I'm thinking my entire order is going in the trash. There's no way I'm eating this stuff. As I am debating what to do, my kids were starving! A girls came out and said we credited your order as we feel bad so they made it good in the end but I will never eat here again. I cannot trust the food. She said the lids are right above the station where they make the food and it must have fallen in while cooking. This is not ok. My child could have choked , or been poisoned. It hopefully was not intentional. I want to believe it wasn't. The staff was all very polite and helpful so I will go with it was an honest error, but this cannot happen again. Changes need to happen for food safety and the people need training at the register.
Came in a about a hour before closing last night, both girls working at the counter were very rude. Ordered the salmon Caesar with sub blacken chicken and received the smallest piece of chicken and no croutons with my salad. Wasnt informed there wasn’t any croutons in stock. The salad was mostly ice berg stocks. I would recommend the Scottsdale Rd location over this one.
Modern Market Scottsdale did NOT come within compliance of FDA regulations. Upon entering the store I stood waiting for an associate for a few minutes. No one greeted me or welcomed me into the restaurant. After a few minutes I decided to peek my head over in the kitchen to see if there were any employees in the kitchen I could wave hello to so someone would help take my order. A lady who appeared to be the store manager came and assisted me. At first she was very pleasant. I ordered a half-size flatiron salad. She placed the order and I swiped my debit card. Then she proceeded to prepare my plate. Observation #1 The manager failed to wash her hands. Observation #2 The manager failed to wear gloves.I intervened and asked that she wash her hands. She replied, “I didn’t touch your food.” Unfortunately her thumb did touch the lettuce that was near the rim of the plate. She proceeds to wash her hands and place gloves on. As I continue to watch this non-complaint employee prepare my plate of food, Observation #3 Maintenance man came through the store and entered the kitchen, did not wash his hands, no one had masks on, but began to talk business with the manage over my plate of food. Sorry not sorry this is not even a 1-star experience.
