I'm so disappointed in my experience at this course. It was overall terribly manicured. Maybe it was so rough because of the amount of play it takes. It was essentially a dog track. One I paid over $100 to play and worth maybe half that.It also needs so much modernization. Why are their water hazards in AZ golf. ITS THE DESERT! This course is an example of terrible impact on the environment. A complete contrast is camelback right down road. Not visiting again.
Decent golf course. Track overall is similar to other 'resort' courses in Scottsdale...relatively flat, smattering of water (more on this course than others), rough not too challenging, not really any desert for your ball to escape to. Staff was friendly and attentive. Reasonable price for the track. Conditions weren't ideal, but OK for late April.
Took 5 1/2 hours to finish 18. Rate of play not enforced.Cart girl was rude and passive aggressive. The only compliment I give this course is the maintenance crew and greenskeeper.Great fairways. Nice tee boxes and greens. But the whole experience was below average.
Had an excellent time at McCormick Ranch. Great course, outstanding scenery, and the staff could not have been more helpful.??
I played the Pine Course. Cost was just under $120. For that price you expect a course that is in good shape. Needless to say it was not in good shape. Tee boxes we’re atrocious. So hard it was rough getting a tee in the ground and many of them were mostly dirt. Same with the greens. A lot of them in rough shape. Course layout is challenging and would be fun but for that price WELL before summer I expect much much better
Haven't played either course in 15+years. Recently played the pine. The course, the rate, the facility is the best in the area. A traditional course. I give it 100 Stars
Good course for a good price. Best part are the views of Camelback mountain. It is wide open with only a handful of risky holes with water. The greens have a good speed. Adding the slope, it leads to challenging greens. Several holes though were not maintained that well with water-logged areas or dry spots, which is to be expected. Golf service was good, but food service and golf cart service was lacking.
I played two wonderful rounds the last weekend of February. Everyone on staff treated me wonderfully. After returning to California, I discovered I'd left my favorite wind breaker behind. I contacted the club and Jim Meyers found it in the lost and found and shipped it to my house. Awesome service!
Lovely place that'll take 10 guys' green fees and then still charge and extra full one because the last guy got held up at the border for covid. Wonderful customer service Jim. I imagine there was a ton of singles that day that wanted to join a group of 10.
From Southern California on vacation. Just stopped by for breakfast. Great food at very reasonable prices with great service. And with a great view of the golf course.
