We had a layover at PHX and needed to get out of the airport for a while. Found this taco shop through Yelp. It was close by the airport so we thought it would be a good idea to grab a quick bite. The carnitas tacos, rice, and pinto beans tasted like a homemade plate from Nana’s kitchen. We will definitely be back. Everything else looked delicious!
Portion size- 5 starsFlavor-3 1/2 starsOverall I would say that the food is a good value at the price point, but isn't the best Mexican food that can be found in the general area if you spend a little bit more.Business is clean and had lots of seating, but the food wasn't as on point. Carne asada had good flavor, but the al pastor had lots of rubbery fat that distracted from the taco and the barbacoa was ok. Chips were freshly made and the salsas were tasty. Burrito was big, but had more of a Chipotle vibe as it has more rice and beans in it than it did meat. Overall it was tasty, but points deducted for smaller ratio of meat.
Love this place! The food is amazing and delicious. Spicy if you like it that way. And the people working there are always nice and respectful. I'm very fortunate to have one close to work and home. One of my favorite places to eat at.
My wife and I had lunch at the Maskadores Taco Shop located on Northsight Blvd on Friday for the first time. The food was absolutely delicious. Fernando, the owner, was there hustling right along with his crew. If you love Mexican Cuisine, you should check this place out!!
The food is soooo amazing, the rolled tacos are the best my boyfriend and I have ever had. This place is definitely the place to get rolled tacos from, we wont ever get them anywhere else because this place is just THAT good. The staff is very friendly and their portions are AMAZING. We spend about $30 for the two of us (two plates and two drinks) definitely worth all the money and please always tip the staff they are the nicest! Seriously look at their work of art! They have potatoes inside the rolled tacos and whatever meat you'd like is put on top with all the toppings of your choice.
You guys, holy wow, come here. To-go order… chicken tacos, carne asada tostada, medium-chicken verde enchiladas. That was the best tostada I’ve had in years. Literally. Guys. Tostada. So good, the only photo I have is of the empty container. Asada cooked perfectly, tender. Tacos great, and enchiladas were unbelievable. Had a balanced amount of heat, flavorful and fresh!
I love this taco shop! Absolutely great lunch and fast too. My go-to is the 5 rolled tacos, and I cycle through the different meat options so I'm never bored. Friendly people and great food, I recommend this place to all my friends.
The food was probably the best counter serve Mexican food I've ever had. It was a very clean kitchen with a wide variety of menu options. The churros were right up there with Costco! Chimichanga was amazing too. The price is a bit higher than it's neighbor, but there is no competition on quality. Worth every penny! Can't wait to come back!
Everything was so fresh and so full of. Incredible ways to combine new flavors. Complimented by very friendly staff! Smells amazing right when you walk in the door ☺️
This restaurant was very busy when I went during lunch hour (expected). There was lots of customers crowded into one area waiting for food but I new I was in for a treat. Across the street was Filibertos with an empty parking lot during lunch. To start off, there were four employees working hard getting meals out as fast as they could. The line was long but it was moving which gave me some time to think about what I wanted. Everything on that menu looked so good. I got two orders, the Nachos and the burrito. I sat down to eat and man this food was so bomb. This location is clean, fast, busy, welcoming, and has great customer service. I would recommend this place to friends and family. You will always find the Gems supporting small business owners.
