Excellent local sports bar! For those that enjoy a bet on the ponies this place has an OTB betting setup with dozens of TVs to watch your horse cross that finish line. The bar and restaurant are excellent, I’ve had several different appetizers and dinner entrees all have been terrific. There is even a daily special, offering home style dinners with hearty portions. The owner/bartender Laura creates a fun lively atmosphere, the banter with many regulars makes for a really great laugh, you may only be a few visits from becoming Norm at the end of the bar. This will now be a regular stop I make when in need of a great drink and terrific meal.

We were looking for somewhere to have a drink and maybe a bite after the gym. We stumbled upon Longshots, and found a gem! This place is awesome!! We missed the food but the vibe and experience was amazing, definitely going back for food very soon. This is definitely my new hangout! Great prices great drinks! You have to try Laura's Angry Orange!
We were in town for the WM Open and found the perfect spot to be when not at the golf course. Reasonable prices, great food, and, best of all, fun people to spend the weekend with. From the guys sharing OTB tips, to other customers sharing beer and stories, to the staff (including hardworking owner Laura), we came in every evening for drinks and dinner. And to boot, the Bar sponsored a shuttle to the golf tournament. Stop by and tell the Longshots gang the Michigan State Spartan boys sent you.
Great food, staff, prices...clean as a whistle and lots of fun..ownership is fantastic.
This place was GREAT. We are staying close by and looking for burgers and drinks in a casual atmosphere. We decided not to drive down to Old Town. We were rewarded with far superior service and plenty of seating. They had ONION RINGS (two places in Old Town said there was a national shortage). Why spend more time and money - just go here. Sorry of the post-bite shot (I was hungry).
Finally had a chance to visit after wanting to since they opened and I have to echo other reviewers. The food is phenomenal (perfect mix of comfort/traditional bar fare and excellent quality) and the service is great! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. They have all the makings of a great regular hangout; Golden Tee, jukebox, tons of TVs with all the sports, good music, and a balance of bar atmosphere and dining. Some bars are so loud you can hardly hear yourself think. Longshots keeps it upbeat and fun but at a level you can enjoy some conversation. A+ all around. Highly recommend you try this place.
We like it. It's unpretentious and the food is good. They have a nice variety of things to choose from and heavy on Wisconsin favorites. The pretzel, cheeseburger, tots, pastrami sandwich, chicken tenders all consistently good bar food. When I think of this bar it's a man's bar, I have been here multiple times when there are only 2 gals in the whole while place with tons of guys betting horses during the week. If that makes you uncomfortable just be aware. On the weekends it's a more mixed crowd. Everyone is always nice workers and customers. I've never felt uncomfortable. We love having this down the road and are happy to give them our business and be repeat customers. Another plus the owner is around a lot which we like. Thanks again.
I don’t usually frequent sports bars but this place blew me away! The Bloody Mary was by far one of the best I’ve ever had, the food was delicious! The service was phenomenal both from the wait staff and the manager who was so lovely and always checking in and making sure we were happy and well taken care of. I will most definitely go back.
