First time visiting this place. Had a wonderful dinner with some great salsa. Fresh tasting and quite flavorful!

Average quality and service. A bit slow. Prices are reasonable. The decor needs a fresher and cleaner look.

Had a fantastic first time at this amazing local loved Mexican restaurant! Hot fresh chips and salsa.Service was awesome! Only thing missing was a wine list.So glad we can't walk there and that it's not too close to home!!! Because I would have it every day!

No hot sauce, not much spices, big in size, Haverneros on the other side- Tastier and cheaper, more choices

Stopped in for lunch. First time. Small but charming inside. Very welcoming staff. Had the lunch special Chicken Enchiladas. Excellent! Huge portions! Very reasonablypriced. Waiter took great care of us!The chips and salsa are the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely return!

Food is absolutely disappointing! Do not recommend at all. The only thing that was good was the chips and salsa. Menudo was nothing but store bought poured out of a can. Nothing authentic about this place besides how long it's been in business. Chicken used for my salad was boiled and tasteless. ?

La Fonda has the BEST margaritas! And this is what I'm reviewing! The margarita mix is well balanced and whether you get a house or a cadillac, your taste buds will thank you after your first sip. I got the queso dip as a snack while I sipped my drink and the two go together very well. For food they have all the favorites: quesidillas, flaunts, tacos, and much more. The menu is great but nothing is better than having a well made margarita to accompany that delicious meal.If you're in Scottsdale, definitely stop by La Fonda!

Ordered the “Cheese Crisp with green onion” and then I added sides of pico, sour cream, and guacamole to make it extra special. The crisp was not quite as “fried” as other versions I have had, but it was very good! This appetizer is easily over 12 inch size and was more meal than I could eat. Warm chips and two kinds of salsa served with the meal. Super fast and friendly service! (*note* Parking is in the rear if you are from out of state)

very friendly staff. and of course great food. every time.

A small quaint Mexican restaurant with an authentic vibe. We stopped in for lunch on a Monday and sat on the small patio. Inside seemed to be filled with locals-not a tourist spot. The large menu features all the Mexican American dishes from tacos and enchiladas to chimichanga and combo plates. My chicken chimichanga was huge and came with rice and beans and small bit of lettuce and tomatoes and my wife’s combo cheese enchiladas and beef taco also had the sides. Food was good and service friendly.
