This is definitely a hidden gem. Stopped here for a quick lunch. Rocky one of the owners waited on us. He couldn’t have been any nicer. Informative and professional with a great sense of humor. The menu is huge for such a small place any everything is cooked to order. Great little bar too. And the best thing is all the funny signs all over the restaurant. Wish we lived closer.
Hidden Gem ? We loved this place. My blackened shrimp tacos were delicious. The fries were so good. Friendly and fast service. Next time I'm in Scottsdale, I'll be back. If you want a good laugh, check out the signs they have posted?
We were so happy to stumble upon this tiny, but excellent, restaurant on a short visit to Old Town. The menu is huge and creative, and service was top-notch. We sat outside, so no alcohol, but the food made up for it. My son had a massive burger with tasty, seasoned fries and frequently-refilled lemonade. I had the blackened shrimp tacos with a side salad w/bleu cheese dressing- the dressing was actually blue. A fun touch and yummy. Our server was the nicest guy, originally from Canada. Kept the drink refills coming. This was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Highly recommend this little gem with its big selection of flavors.

First visit to Karsen's. Great food and service. Enjoyed the intimate and casual dining room. Check out the signs in the restroom.

I was walking around Old Town looking for a dinner restaurant while looking up TripAdvisor reviews and found this gem. Tiny restaurant but we sat right down for dinner. Waitress was great as was the owner. We shared a patty melt and the Wainwright salad. The burger was delicious but I can’t stop thinking about that salad! Unique combination of flavors. And it was such a big salad that I was able to eat the leftovers for lunch the next day. Definitely check it out!
Great food can’t believe the availability of choices with such a small intimate restaurant! I had salmon tacos could only eat one portions are large. Everyone enjoyed we had wings, kuban with sweet potato fries you will consider dessert! Yummy worth the wait it’s a small restaurant about 25 people capacity don’t let that deter you.
Great food. BBQ and OPB burger and Adove Pasta. Small dine in area and two outdoor tables so not ideal for any party bigger than 4. Definitely a local favorite.
