We’re came from Colorado for our vacation. We came in at Johnny Rocket ( The sign say we will be there to take your seat) three waitress keep walking around and pass us while we stand for more than five min. They are bot effort made eye contact with me to ask go head take a seat. None! I told three kids and I go ahead seat ourself and wait for them to come to us we waiting for 10 minutes. They just keep walking around there is only two people seat next to us and they taking care of them instead us. I walk toward to front order and go ahead order to another employee, she said u can order on the table and wait someone. I was told her none of waitresses came to us or notice us at all. She took order and took forever to order for our food there is pretty nobody busy there. I am pretty disappointed for feel not welcome..
This experience was a disaster from the beginning. It took FOREVER to get our food despite there being hardly anyone in the restaurant. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato. Grilled cheese was on the kids menu as well as on the adults. I just had water as a drink. I thought i was getting the adult grilled cheese but i was brought the kid's which included fries and a drink but cost more. I figured since I'm paying more I might as well get a drink but the waitress never brought one. They put 2 slices of tomato on a plate, none on my sandwich. They explained that putting tomatoes on sandwiches is a problem with thier grill. Huh??? My family wanted their drinks refilled but when the waitress didn't show up to check on us, my family helped themselves at the drink station. My sis ordered a chili dog which arrived with something resembling a small amount of diarrhea on top. Her words. And no cheese. She sent it back then it returned wth a few sprinkles of grated cheese added on top. They didn't melt the cheese. And then there was the bathroom. I walked in to find my nephew's wife trying to pour soap out of a massive jug. There was no soap in the dispensers and apparently they felt is was better to have customers pour out of the jug instead of filling the dispensers. The stalls had TP all over and the rolls of TP were out. The floors were dirty. But wait, there's more! My bill came and I was charged extra for choosing pepper jack cheese. I pointed out to the waitress that both the kids and adults grilled cheese offered a choice of cheeses on the menu. No extra charge was listed. She didn't care, saying thats the way it rings up. Someone asked for the manager to come over. She refused to get him! She said she was too busy! I went to find one myself. He took off the cheese charging saying the waitress is new. Her issues go beyond being new. She needs to learn manners. The whole place had mega issues!!! Don't know how they stay in business if it's like that regularly. If it was possible to give no stars thats what this place would get.
Spicy Houston Sandwich Excellent Taste !
I wish I could put zero stars but unfortunately it doesn’t give me the option. I went here for a nice lunch with my family. I wanted to sit outside but was told that I had to place it as a to go order and then take it outside due to lack of staff. We go to the front to have our order taken and all I could hear was the (I’m assuming) “manager” belittling and yelling at the staff from the door. We waited 30 minutes to be helped and the food still came out cold. I’ve been coming here for years I don’t know what has happened recently but the place is gloomy and chaotic. Bad management to say the least. I’ve worked in the service industry for years, the way the employees hold themselves together dealing with management is impressive to say the least. I don’t know how they have any workers. Avoid this place at all costs.
We decided to eat outside since there was limited seating inside. It was not clear where to order. We waited quite a while to order. They were overwhelmed in the kitchen and said that our friends that were right behind us in line couldn’t order for 15 minutes until they caught up. Never heard of a restaurant doing that. We got our food and it was average nothing like I remember johnny rockets that I have been to in the past. The person who brought out the food didn’t bring out silverware (I had a salad), napkins, no salad dressing, and no condiments. I went into ask for those items and the manager acted like I was bothering him. It was overpriced for the service and the food quality.
We stopped here for lunch in between our OdySea and Butterfly Wonderland experiences. The manager immediately informed us that even though it looked like they had several open tables, they only had 2 waitresses to service them. We had the option to sit outside and he would help us, or wait to be seated inside. Since it was a bit chilly, we opted to wait to be seated. We appreciated that he was taking care of his staff. As adults, we were able to order from the kids menu which meant a cheaper smaller shake and smaller sized entree. It worked out great for us. We had the mini burgers, grilled cheese, and chicken tenders with fries and tater tots. We couldn’t finish our meals. We still got so much food, even with the kids sized portions.
I would like to say the gentleman that help me with my order was amazing. But the food was bad the fries taste like they have been cooked in bad grease. The burger was just like it was thrown together. But that shake he made me was great. Food very very very bad
Waited 30mins and still no adjustment made to bill since we had to leave before receiving food. Paid $39 for a milkshake. Never thought I would ever recommend McDonalds over another restaurant but here we are .
Convenient and great burgers.
The food was of great quality and great taste other than the fries. It is conveniently located inside Arizona Broadwalk with a nice sit out and good staff. They have a wide variety of items for different taste buds.
