Hands down, the best ice cream ever! I grew up on the chocolate pecan as a child in Youngstown and it still tastes as good now as it did then! My husband is hooked on the banana and I'm now in love with the chocolate peanut butter. Service is always amazing and I love having this "piece of home" here in Scottsdale! Thanks for such a great treat! We're your biggest fans!!
I only gave 4 stars because, I, personally, don't care for ice cream. I know, but pies or cookies.... Anyway, my guys (3) sample 9 flavors. They absolutely raved about them all. So it must be good. It's a large open store with ordering stations across the front. No indoor seating, but outdoor seating with misters. But they need to clean the tables more often, lots of sticky stuff on the seats; wiped it down myself, but still had chocolate sauce on my butt. But the boys were happy! Good job!
Been wanting to stop by for quite some time as I've seen it gets quite busy. Finally had the chance and was pretty impressed! It's a old style ice cream parlor with tons of flavor to choose from! I ordered the Praline flavor and it was very good! Excited to try other flavors as well. Service was great & will be back again!
The ice cream is so good and the portions are very generous! We ordered a small portion of the strawberry cheesecake in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl. It came with 3 1/2 scoops of ice cream! IN A SMALL!!! More than enough. It was smooth and creamy with chunks of cheesecake and yummy strawberry mixed throughout.When we stopped by there were a couple young kiddos working. They were nice and once we started asking questions (first timers) the answers were helpful. The kid who helped us turned to talk to a friend before our transaction was finished processing. No biggie, we'll definitely stop by the next time we're in the area, just keep it in mind on your next visit.
Found an awesome new ice cream shop! We were looking for something other than cold stone or Baskin-Robbins. This was a good find, I had not heard of Handel’s but it turns out there are 79 other locations.We tried the four scoop sampler; peanut butter and chocolate, cookie dough, coffee chocolate chip, and cinnamon roll.The ice cream bases are fantastic, 3 of the four were incredible. The coffee chocolate chip was not the strongest coffee flavor. It is good with the cookie dough and the cinnamon roll though.Can’t wait to go back and try more of the flavors

I ordered a malted chocolate shake. It was delicious. Consistency wise, it was a little too loose than i would've preferred, bit i could've asked for it "extra thick" which was on the menu. So if you like your shakes thick, consider that. I'll definitely be back to try the hot fudge sundae.
Randomly found this last night and I was so full from the restaurant next door I saved my ice cream until just now. This was possibly the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I’m glad I didn’t find it a few months ago when I first got to Arizona or I’d be 500lbs. Thankfully I leave in two weeks but I cannot wait to get this again. I had a small to go cup of the Cinnamon Roll flavor. Perfection. My one year old son got one of the tiny free scoops which I also thought was super nice, he loved it.
Good tasting ice cream, friendly staff, lots of flavors. However, some of their coolers are broken so the ice cream in them is super soft and requires s cup because it slides off the side of a cone.
Such great ice cream!!!! We did the four flavor sampler- great way to try lots of flavors. The coconut one is amazing and the cinnamon roll is superb. Great addition to this shopping center!
