I’ve lived in Old Town for almost 5 years now and Geisha has always been a go-to spot for me. Ashley is probably one of the chillest bar tenders there and will know how to serve a great drink regardless of the occasion. Definitely ask for her. The thing that sets Geisha apart from most establishments in Old Town is the music selection. They don’t cater to the party crowd that can always hit up the multitude of clubs. Instead they have a more ambient and chill vibe. Tonight I heard a wide range of music but the playlist was crafted beautifully, and it made a simple trip into a special nostalgic one. A lot of the music I never thought I’d hear in an establishment and a lot of it was music that brought me back to another time if my life. Kudos to the staff for being different, unique and bold. Most of all, I’m thankful that they are themselves and true to the vibe Geisha has always been known for. - May 23rd 2022

Excellent spot for sushi and drinks, love the old style Japanese theme! Place gets busy so you may need to make reservations. Staff was super friendly and the waitress was sweet & reminded me of Rhianna ♥️. Will be back again!

Nice chill atmosphere..ordered the veggie lettuce wraps, teriyaki ribs and Japanese chicken wings...all delicious! Definitely will be back to try their drinks and other selections!

The food was good but the experience with the server was not great. First of all, they wanted to charge us an outside dessert fee thinking we had a cake but it was a gift in a box….then people in our party were asking details of what types of sushi they had and she basically did not answer and told us to read the menu in a passive aggressive tone. It’s was a decent experience. Maybe she had a long night.

Half off specials make for a happy Happy Hour at Geisha A-Go-Go! Lots of fun with private Karaoke rooms too!

When a party meets sushi it is Geisha a Go Go Sushi. Really fun spot. Happy hour is a happening scene. The staff is friendly and part of the fun vibe. The sushi is good but be prepared to be in a fun bar atmosphere with the other patrons.

This was a really cool experience! It’s almost like a speakeasy for sushi! From what I understand, you must have a reservation or know someone to get in.When we got there it was roped off with a red carpet rope and a bouncer in front. We told him who we were coming to see and they came to get us and brought us to our table. The service was good, the waitress was attentive and everything came quickly. We ordered a few different sushi dishes which were all tasty as well as the mozzarella sticks. We also got a bottle of sake to share and it was really smooth! Potent, but flavorful and smooth. We went during happy hour so the prices were great too!I really liked the decor and there was pretty low lighting throughout. Next time I’d definitely like to try the karaoke!

Good luck getting food to go. You cannot call the restaurant or place a to go order at the restaurant, you HAVE to order online, but don’t worry, they will give you zero directions to do so and won’t warn you that it won’t actually give you the correct view to do it on your phone. The hostess had to speak to a manager to allow me to place the order and still wasn’t allowing me to do anything but place it online. I asked, can’t I just sit at the bar to order it and you bag it up, and she finally asked the bartender if that was ok. In the 40 minutes it took for my ramen to be prepared while the restaurant was at 15%capacity my car parked in the to go order spot got stickered to be towed. Could not be more confused at when this place went so downhill and disappointed that I will no longer be going to a place I frequent with friends. I called right after getting in my car to speak to a manager and after hearing the hostess call the managers name, was told with attitude that I will have to leave my name and number. I do not expect a cal back. What a poor display of management.

My favorite sushi restaurant in Arizona. Hands down the best sushi happy hour Phoenix has to offer. Best quality food for an amazing price. Ambiance is always great and service is always excellent. Appetizers and drinks are half off during happy hour. Time for happy hour starts as early as 3pm giving you much time to enjoy your food and drinks.

Came here in 2016 and had a wonderful experience. Back in town and thought we would come again. Hours said they close at 10:00 PM. Got there at 9:20 and we’re told they weren’t serving food and did last call already. Place still had people in it, so we asked for a to go order which was declined. They suggested we go to RA Sushi “they’re open until midnight”. We happily went somewhere else that was happy to accommodate us.
