Came in about half an hour before closing and most of the store was cleaned up and put away but the staff did not have any issue with helping us out.I had a chocolate chip cookie sandwich with cookies and cream ice cream. Tasted amazing ? also the cookie was very fresh, still had some chocolate chips melting ?Other two orders were Brownie sundae with strawberry ice cream and a strawberry cheesecake waffle cone with sprinkles ?? no complaints just the heat melted the whip insanely fast ?Overall great experience, and have a wide variety to choose from on the menu (see photos).

The ability to be able to customize my own ice cream sandwich was such a cool experience, I definitely want to come back to try different combinations sometime!

The place is nothing special. Got a cup of ice cream with caramel sauce and he barely put any on. It said hot caramel and it was out of a squeeze bottle. Husband got a coffee and 12.00 later… what a rip off!!!

Typical ice cream place, nothing crazy, they serve dreyers ice cream. Menu implies a kids ice cream comes with a regular cone or cup but a waffle cone is $2 extra, lady charged us extra for the regular cone. Overall just ok, just another expensive place to take advantage of tourists

This place has become a joke, me and my two nieces used to come all the time with our annual passes and it’s always been routine to stop and get icecream after seeing the fish. Cookies are always hard anymore, the new staff aren’t as welcoming as the old, the bathroom and tables are always dirty, and they let me get my usual order anymore as its “not on the menu” but the boy who used to work here always happily made it with a smile. You might as well just go to cold stone, the atmosphere was the only thing saving this store from being another generic, overpriced icecream shop in scottsdale.

My son saw this place and had to give it a try. He was not disappointed. He chose the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream rolled in chocolate chips. He said the cookie was fresh, the ice cream was creamy, and it tasted delicious!

So not worth. Cookies were hard as heck and pushed all the generic dryers ice cream when bitten. Ice cream is cheap, the toppings are whatever and I paid 16 bucks for a single scoop and sandwich.

Great staff ?. Lovely atmosphere. Fried cauliflower was delicious, burgers Great and creme brulee light and delicious. Recommended

Walked in to get a coffee and an ice cream for my son , was immediately asked to wear a mask. Despite the fact it’s not law or state mandated. I don’t do business with people who enforce Tyranny. Either you’re for freedom or you don’t get my business.

It was kind of a joke. We had promised the kids a sweet treat after walking the exhibits at The Boardwalk and therefore were excited for our desert treats to be made at the Frozen Penguin. It was 5:45pm when we arrived. The cookie selection for the fresh cookie sandwiches were sparse to begin with and the ones they did have were left out and quite brittle and dry. The kiddos were all about creating their bowl of ice cream, but when they asked if they could try the ice cream they were given a "look" as if that was unacceptable. Once we finally all had our treats in hand, we were told we would have to leave to eat them as they were closing and we could wonder around outside to find a place to sit. At that point we were mauled by mosquitoes. This was unacceptable knowing that we came here because their location wasn't set to close till 7pm as I had called earlier in the day to verify hours of operation
