It was a wonderful experience. Knowing that the restaurant is very plant forward, we decided to opt for vegetable-based appetizers and entrées. We enjoyed everything, and decided to also go for the minced lamb entrée and it was very enjoyable. The desserts were good also. Allen all a delightful evening cost with tip for four people including a very nice wine was just around $200 and it was worth every penny.
We had dinner here recently with friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant features small plates (very shareable), medium sized offerings (also shareable) and entrees. We did not try the desserts as we were all too full. They feature local ingredients and the food was all incredibly good. All six of us were very pleased. The service was also excellent.
Delicious meal with knowledgeable service. We came to FnB on our last night visiting Scottsdale. We sat outside and enjoyed the servers recommendations for wine, three courses and desert. We really enjoyed the freshness of the cuisine and the attentive but not overbearing service. The food was creative and delicious. Would like to visit again.
Reservations suggested as it is a small restaurant with a few outdoor seats which are coveted. The food is magnificent and the menu quite unique. Superb service.
Fantastic, creative food. Grouper and chicken were perfectly cooked and tasty. The cauliflower and beans with greens and goat’s cheese were excellent- enough for 3 or 4. Finished with chocolate cake that had texture and so delicious. Service was professional, informed and pleasant. Nice location in Craftsman Court/ Olde town Scottsdale.
Great menu. Outstanding bar service. Cool vide. Attentive service. A+
Very pricey for the quality of food. The risotto so full of steamed veggies that it made it very watery with no taste. The chicken thighs that were $30+ tasted like they came out of the crockpot.
When I was looking for a spot for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary recently I had a few requirements: a unique and delicious experience, but one where we knew we could be as safe as possible. FnB Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale (home of James Beard award winning chef Charleen Badman) was the obvious choice after a short search and a recommendation from a good friend. We were treated like gold from the moment we walked in the door (which, glad to say, required us to show our vax cards at the time) and were also lucky enough to enjoy the full experience that the restaurant has to offer. Easily one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten in Arizona or beyond. Highly recommend for those of you looking for a special night out. We can’t thank them enough and especially our new buddy Pavle for making one of our very, very few nights out since March 2020 just the absolute best it could possibly be as we felt safe and of course full. Can’t wait to go back!? #NotAnAdJustAFan
Out of this world service and food. Steak cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor, great char on the outside and melts in your mouth. The only restaurant I have been to who actually try and stagger seating and reservations to keep you safe and distanced. A wonderful place and we will be back for sure.
The first few minutes of our reservation were amazing, then it just got progressively better. They were ready for us and greeted us outside to check our vaccination cards, which I appreciated. The staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. Our first course was the lamb manti, which is a lamb dumpling. Perfectly spiced, wonderful sauce and pomegranate seeds for texture and sharpness. Then my husband got the ribeye and I got the braised chicken. The chicken was like nothing I had tasted before. The braise was rich, the saffron rice was a great accompaniment. I'm now on a quest to create a similar dish for us here at home! My husband said his ribeye was one of the best he's had, hands down. We love this place and fully recommend it for a birthday, anniversary, or just to spoil yourself. Enjoy!
