I had a harrowing incident at Ernie’s last night, I was accused by the bar manager and an employee of causing almost 5k of damage to the women's bathroom.I never entered the bathroom at Ernie’s on 5/14 at anytime for anything.5/14- Karaoke, drinks- husband playing pool -typical fun night at Ernie’s.About an hour into the visit I am approached by the bar manager (man) and another employee ( woman)Absent the name of the bar manager and employee- I’ll describe them.Bar manager ( male) 5’9, shaggy, sandy brown hair, black Ernie’s staff t-shirtEmployee (female) short, petite, blonde bob haircut, neck length also wearing a black Ernie’s staff t shirt.Me? Barely 5’0, 100 pounds, wearing cute white shorts and a raging hot top- I am fire - but I am unequivocally the smallest chick in the bar in the last 6 months.1 hour after we arrived / Manager and employee approach me at the bar and motion me to follow them. I’m immediately apprehensive- seems very creepy. They continue the come hither act until we are outside the bar. I reiterate to them over and over that I am uncomfortable and then they lay it on me2 independent witnesses saw me cause $4,500 dollars to the women's bathroom.I was floored. Completely gobsmacked- I told them immediately- I never entered the bathroom at anytime for any reason - They stressed that they had 2 independent witnesses that saw me enter the bathroom and cause the damage.Produce the witnesses I said- zero zip nada- No witnesses ever come forward. My brother in law comes out and he and I both ask to see security video- They show me a still frame of me walking adjacent to the bar- a good 15 feet from the bathroom- and they continue to pursue the fact that I damaged the bathroom- I finally go back inside and now my group is apoplectic after hearing the news.Bar manager finally comes up to me and says that there was a mix up in the colors on the security footage and my white shorts were not consistent with the images on the footage.Look- you can have a bad night managing a bar, but exacerbating a bad night by accusing a munchkin women of tearing a toilet off the wall is beyond the pale- I love Ernie’s- but I am staying away while this dude is running the place.I’ve been racking my brain since last night to try and figure a way that Ernies could have handled a broken toilet in a worse manner.I still haven’t come up with an answer- but there are other Karaoke places in Scottsdale other than Ernie’s - I’ll do some reconnaissance and post some reviews
Wayne is NOT NICE! best friends 40th bday and we were there for 2 hrs tipped him 20$ and he did NOT let her sing! She’s a classically trained opera singer and it was her birthday! He was RUDE! i apologized for zero reason to help let her sing and nope! He don’t care about anyone! RUDE!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bartenders!!!!
Used to be great when the red head ran the karaoke. Now it’s just frat boys and chicks the “new guy” likes that get to sing. We used to love coming here because it was actually quality karaoke but now it’s drunken sloppy singing based on who tips the new guy the most. Won’t be coming back. UPDATE: the new KJ talked s*** over the mic about people who ask where they are in the lineup, won’t be going back. Older guy with gray hair
I had a wonderful time with thr karaoke crowd. They made me feel very welcome despite being an out of towner. Will definitely go back! Love love love the karaoke host!
Easily the best bar in Scottsdale ever... and that was before I found out how awesome and gourmet the food is!
Just not a good place to spend money. The owner needs to sell it to a reputable new owner.
Never been here might pay a visit soon but apparently they hire and keep employees that BEAT WOMEN on video! Yup I saw it with my own eyes this man slapped his girlfriend left major bruises on her and she finally escaped! Fire the narcissist!!! These reviews will not stop! Those videos are going viral!!!
Here from Detroit on business. Came to this bar on Saturday night with some friends. I think the female bartender on the pool side of the bar may be the worst bartender I have ever seen. Very slow and rude as hell.
Hope management rethinks the schedule of their cooks. Having one there in the evening time would make a good experience be a great experience. The karaoke DJ is spot on and fun.
Drove from San Tan Valley to celebrate my mother's 59th Birthday. Happened to forget my ID, had a picture on my phone, plus plenty of other ID's in my wallet. I just happened to not have my DL.At 39 it's a shame the Male bartender think's I was underage, with family, and other's there to celebrate.Seemed more he had a stick up his a..The place was empty anyways, and seemed pretty low-class. Not what I was expecting. It was easy to convince the party, and my single mother to go over to Dirty Dogg. And... WOW! Was Dirty Dogg much more fun!
