I feel that the corporate atmosphere makes this place much more average than you'd expect. They probably consider themselves a "fine dining" restaurant but it seems to me more like average plus. The menu is average.

My husband and I dined yesterday at Eddie V in Scottsdale. I originally called to find out about where they were located, and where to park, as it was not clear to me where one could park by the restaurant. The young lady who answered the phone could not have been more unclear about the parking house, as we went round and round about which street and where exactly the restaurant was. This could have been handled in a better and more friendly way. Not everyone knows the streets! Our meal was served well, yet my husband was luckier than I, ordering the large shrimp with crab. My steak, the 8 oz filet, was puny and tasted like liver, not the expected wonderful cut. I was throughly disappointed. The bill was expensive, and that filet was not worth it. Happy anniversary to us! Disgruntled Cave Creek resident

We went there (Scottsdale location) for our wedding anniversary for the first time. The service was excellent, professional, and everyone so welcoming. Shoutout for Justin he did an excellent job. Kudos to the management of the restaurant. Everyone was so articulate, charming and professional. We will definitely go back to this location.

It was pretty amazing! Love the live music, we sat in the Bar. Scallops were AMAZING! Also, Espresso Martini paired with Godiva Lava Cake, was Heaven on Earth! A job, well done!! ❤️??

Eddi-Vs is consistently excellent. Whether at the bar for the happiest hour or dining in the restaurant. Servers are outstanding, must have is the South African Lobster tails.

I have been to Eddie V in other cities and can always count on it being an amazing meal. First class service, great drinks and outstanding food.

What a fabulous evening ! Lovely table , attentive server Eric , and fabulous food . Breaded sole was amazing as was the lobster bisque

Bartenders need to pay a little more attention to the people who are sitting down and having a meal. It seemed like they were more interested in finding a date.

We had both decided off the menu but when we heard the daily specials we each changed to one of them instead. Excellent food and also recommend the crab cake appetizer. Only negative was how dark the place is. Many tables were using their phone lights to read the menus and the waiters even had flashlights to assist if needed.

We selected Eddie V’s based on reviews and it lived up to its reputation. As a regular traveler we appreciate having access to Open Table and it performed well. We dropped the car off at the valet stand, were greeted and seated immediately. It happened to be my birthday and a birthday greeting was waiting on the table. The ambiance is classic dinner club- dark and elegant. A live trio was playing in the lounge. The staff are formally dressed and provided impeccable service- manager, host, server, valet and support staff. Cocktails and wine list were excellent with a substantial breadth of offerings and pricing to fit most budgets. Seafood is flown in daily. We started with a selection of east and west coast oysters on the half shell- all fresh and tasty. We split a buratta and beet salad- interesting and flavorful combination. Main course was the filet Oscar ( which is served with lobster instead of crab) , a filet and a huge plate of crispy Brussels sprouts. Everything was cooked perfectly as ordered. We skipped desert and finished our bottle of Gaja Ca’Marcanda Promis. We asked about a glass of lemoncello, but it apparently was not available, with the server’s apology. As we were leaving we thanked the manager and mentioned we would have liked a glass of lemoncello. He happened to also be the bar manager and said he had just brought in a new bottle that night. He invited us to sit at the bar, enjoy the trio’s music and brought us two complementary glasses of an excellent lemoncello. The manager clearly set the tone for service at Eddie V’s and it showed in the attitude and skills of every staff member. While the meal was expensive is was still a solid value- and if you use a light touch on the wine list you can have a superior meal for a reasonable price. The valet brought the car around and off to the hotel. We wish there was an Eddie V’s closer to home. Well done all!
