I have loved going to Chompie's for years. It has always been quality service and they are able to meet my allergy needs. They were able to figure out what salmon I could eat and get me the sides I was wanting. It tasted delicious! My daughter enjoyed the fried chicken and fruit. The rest of our group enjoyed their meals so much they had no left overs. It is always a pleasure going to all their locations. They have a great bakery as well!
Awesome New York style deli. My wife and I tried this location for the first time 6/6/22. The food and service exceeded our expectations. Our server was Tina, she took the time to explain menu items and was super quick to get food out and refill drinks. Tina was very helpful! We ordered pierogi’s, the homemade knish and sweet & sour stuffed cabbage rolls for appetizers. Ordered their famous Reuben for main course. You must try this place, you won’t be disappointed!!
HORRIBLE customer service tonight and very average tasting food. This was my first ever visit tonight around 8pm on June 10th. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and the total was a whopping $21.00 and that was without even a drink!!! And the side I ordered was potato salad which was good but it was very small. The size of a little side ketchup or butter cup!! Can you believe this for $21.00!! The young woman who took my order should have just stayed home tonight. She didn’t have a smile and she was not friendly at all. Another lady standing in line asked her if she was alright. She definitely was NOT having a good night. I would never go back again. Way, way too expensive for what you get and very average food (unless the cook was having a bad night as well). Take the $20 and go somewhere else or order a large pizza! I’ve attached a photo of the tiny cup of potato salad I got. I would have been much better off ordering fries!! On my way out I told the girls co worker that she was not a very friendly employee. No smile, no friendly greeting, etc.
Heard about it from a friend and boy, am I glad I went! For starters, I hate sandwiches but I know why: they were not from Chompie’s! I tried beef pastrami sandwich with sweet potato fries. Check out my photo, you want to go and order it once you see this photo! Sandwich size is plenty to share for 2 people. Best sandwich I had in my life for sure!
We went to grab some bagels and shmears for the weekend and the selection was pretty impressive. Lots of kinds of bagels and various salads too. The bakery selection was enticing and delicious. We did not dine in, but the place did not seem busy on a Friday afternoon. It took a while to get our food, but staffing shortages are everywhere.
We were a party of eight when we had lunch there last week. It was a perfect visit. Adam, the general manager, was so personable and accommodating to us. One of the sandwiches came out wrong. He came over, took it back, and brought us the correct one. He took the sandwich off the bill. The food was excellent and we were treated well. I will go back again soon.
Excellent food and service. My family will definitely be back.
Every time we are in Scottsdale we have to go to Chompie's and it never disappoints for quality of food, service and value. We love the brisket especially. We took some breads and desserts with us from the bakery and we were happy to introduce Chompie's to friends of ours at this visit.
Amazing. Ask for their 1/2 or full sour pickles ?
We have always been big Chompie’ s fans, particularly their deli style sandwiches. I had breakfast there this morning and it was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. The hashbrowns were undercooked, soggy and greasy. The bacon was undercooked and literally floating in grease. The eggs, ordered over easy, were rockhard. And the sausage was tasteless. I am furious with myself for not sending it back and actually paying for it.
