Truly love the food that Cava offers, but the online orders at this location are rarely correct. Today I stopped by the location and they were only taking cash, so I ordered via the app as a work around.I was the only person in the store, staff headcount was six, and they failed to add the dressing to 2 of the 3 bowls.This is a consistent problem with this location. I have placed 8 online orders, and 6 of those had issues where I either had to return to the location, or had to take the order to the counter to get the remaining items.If you order online from this location make sure you check the order every time before you leave.As a business owner, I truly understand the challenges of staffing, but lack of attention to detail when these were the only orders being made is just inexcusable.
My friend recommended this place to me and my wife and for the most part we really enjoyed it. However, there are a couple of things...first, I ordered a fountain drink soda and I go to the machine and it says it's down. So, I go back to the employee and asked her about it and she tells me that it is in fact, not functioning properly. I'm like, "why the heck wouldn't you tell me that the soda machine was down when I ordered the soda?" "I have to pay for it and ask you first?" Aside from that it was also a little on the expensive side. My wife still went there for 3 days straight and would have went there today, except when I mentioned, she told me that the bathroom were not clean and she didn't want to go there...so there you have it. However, everything else was good and I thought the teas were exceptional.
The food is fresh and delicious. I would have given it a 5 star but the staff wasn’t friendly, even after I told them it’s my first time here. They seemed frustrated with me because I didn’t know how their process works here. Basically it’s exactly like chipotle.
Went in this afternoon and they were getting ready to close (I think) because their registers were down. The manager (didn't catch her name; but she was a lovely lady with dark hair/dark complexion) was INCREDIBLE. You could tell she was stressed but she handled it soooo well, still got everyone's orders done, and was insanely nice and efficient. The food was amazing as well, I got a build your own grain bowl and everything was great. I will be back!
CAVA is one of my favorite restaurants usually but at this location I had a horrific experience. The staff seemed so overwhelmed and stressed out I myself was dying to run out of there. I got home and all of my food was incorrect, and to top it off there was a long hair wrapped inside my pita. I legit threw up. I’m so sad because I loved cava and now I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat it again :(
Walked in to try this place around 6:30 on a Friday. I have been SO excited to try after seeing my friend in Maryland post about it. The staff looked IN THE WEEDS. As a former fast casual restaurant manager, it was painful to watch. Line to the door, dirty dishes everywhere, they looked stressed. I get it, the restaurant industry is taking a beating right now. But seriously, it's Friday night. Staff better, don't take online orders that cause a backup, something. We left after waiting about 5 minutes with a non-moving line and went to Pita Jungle. Such a bummer.
The food is great however, they are always forgetting our pita chips orders and incorrect items. This is the third time my work has ordered from them. They have no customer service whatsoever and don't care that they take peoples money without providing them their items that they paid for. They need to train staff to provide better customer service. Very disappointed in how they treat guests. I work in the restaurant industry and we never treat upset guests like this.
CAVA is one of my favorite favorite favorite casual fast dining restaurants ever. I've had it in Virginia and Texas and am so excited for one to be just down the street from me. The food never disappoints and is something I could probably eat everyday. Unfortunately I have to commit more time than I would like if I want to eat at this location. The wait and line times are ridiculous and the staff seem unorganized and honestly very rude. There has to be a better, more efficient way to get the line through and for a bit better service. I might try the order ahead from now on because ordering in the store is such a hassle. Also, from the 2 times I have been there so far I wasn't offered any pita or chips which is my favorite part!! I hope this location can get a bit more organized and better trained since I know it just opened. Hoping for the best!
Cava was DELICIOUS. They just opened and unfortunately might be slightly understaffed - but everyone we interacted with was very nice and the value of what you get for the cost is awesome. Everything we ate was so so good. The wait is was worth it and we cannot wait to go back.
Came here to try it for the first time. Online it states it opens at 1045am. Arrived at 1130, walked in and was told they can not serve anyone for 30 minutes. We decided to wait and I am so glad we did! It was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Seems they just opened so I can be gracious on the waiting hiccup.
