Absolutely the best philly cheese steak I have ever had! We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in town. I wish I knew rhe name of the guy who waited on us but he was awesome!
I went here for lunch with a friend. Kind of a grab and go. I saw the sign that read The greatest sandwich in America so I had to try one with that saying. All I can say is one was one great sandwich and since I got a 50/50 10 inch I got to try two! I ordered the Capistrami and the Classic Cheesesteak. Both were rich in tastiness. I couldn’t believe that there was an even bigger sandwich! There were quite a few menu options to try. The service was great. Great location and what a sandwich! I would definitely like to try some others.
We had a bad experience with another restaurant down the street and we were so hungry we stopped hre for a quick bite. We were surprised how good the subs were. We had the Italian Sub and was excellent. We LOVED the Cole Slaw, the best I have had in a long time. Overall surprised how cheap and good eating here was, and much better then the expensive places up the street. Would come again.

Dr Pepper was nice.
I’ve been here multiple times and I love their sandwiches. Lately though I’ve tried to place an order hours before they say that they close and they haven’t been open. This is incredibly disappointing. I understand if they are understaffed but it would be nice if they changed their hours to reflect their actual hours that they can staff for.
We ordered Italian and cheese steak subs. Such a disappointment. The Italian was chopped ham with tiny bits of salami (I think) speckles of lettuce and a couple slices of tomato. The cheese steak had gristle in every bite so spitting that out wasn't pleasant. There was no peppers or onions on it. Plenty of cheese sauce though. Both sandwiches were lacking content and for the prices I was irritated and will never eat at this place again. There are way to many sub shops around that are better and less expensive. Sadly, my first experience will be my last. Do better!
Sandwich shop in old Town. Service was quick and the food was great. Wife and I shared a cheese steak sub. I'm from Pennsylvania and we have sub shops on every corner. This was by far the best cheese steak I have had outside of Pa. Highly recommend.
Went yesterday as the first stop on our AmazingCo mystery picnic date. The service from the guy at the counter was beyond rude. Some of the worst I have ever seen. The way he talked to us was unprofessional and unacceptable. It was by far the worst stop on our day in Old Town, and unfortunately is not the first time I have experienced poor service at this location. The salad was decent enough, but I’ll never come back to Capriotti’s. Not on a mystery picnic, and certainly not on my own.
This was the worst experience I have ever received from an owner. He was very ugly to my group. We came in an hour before shop was to close and refused us to eat in dining area. Sat on bar stool with table by serving area and was short a chair. Right after we walked out he put the chair in place, letting us see this. When bill was questioned the second time with employee, being charged one extra meal, he came over and told us to be quiet so he could find out the problem. He rudely refund us but not the extra tax. No one should be that disrespectful ofhis customers. Would never recommend this place.
The owner was very rude to my family. He informed us that the dining room was closed that we could use the high top tables. There were 6 of us and only 5 chairs. Never offered us another chair. We were overcharged and it was very difficult to get the money back. SUCH a rude owner. We will never go back. Shame on him ?
