Finally a Beard Papa's in Arizona, long overdue. I first was introduced to this place while visiting the Nepark Mall in Newark CA. If your craving a unique treat come here. Team "Creampuff" . They offer 9 different flavor shells and usually a special puff flavor also a Paris Brest and Cinamon Brest. The fillings are Chocolate, Vanilla, Green Tea and a special flavor that is rotating on the menu.The only negative is this location is 40 minutes away from me.The place is very clean and organized and the employees are very friendly. 10/10 highly recommend.
Yesterday evening I stopped in to Beard Papa's the Oreo Crumble with Vanilla filling was absolutely delicious especially with a Oreo shake to enjoy it with. I would definitely be coming back. No pictures, ate it right away!
First of all it's French and a cream puff is made with cream not custard. I was excited to try this place as my mom and gram would make them home made. Very disappointed.
They were good, but not wow. The best filling is the Vanilla. Chocolate filling was too sweet, and green tea filling is not really sweet. All the shells are good. But go for the vanilla filling.
Got the strawberry puff with green tea filling. IT'S FRESH. So delicious and so light. I recommend it for a light dessert after dinner. I ate it outside and luckily I had baby wipes in my car because it was all over my face and hands from devouring it.
A cute store! The cream puffs were amazing! I ordered original + vanilla and churro+ chocolate. I definitely enjoyed every bite.
I ordered 6 today....I would say the filling tastes like sugar free ice cream, melting ice cream that is. When you bite down the shell breaks apart completely and is a total mess. The custard to me was too watery and didn't have a custard consistency. The taste of the shells were good but for almost $5 a pop the star should be both the shell and custard and unfortunately it was not.
This was a place I was excited to try, but I quickly realized I didn’t like the eclairs because of the fillings. If you’re a fan of Twinkie’s, you might love this place! I just wasn’t aware that each eclair had to come with filling. Other than that, enjoyed the story behind the name and my partner enjoyed her mocha cream frappe!
They are like eclair’s.You get to choose your shell and flavor filling.I got a variety and they were good.
Fresh, gourmet, customizable GIANT cream puffs! Definitely worth the visit. Super friendly staff and delectable cream puffs! Our favorites were Honey Butter with vanilla, Cinnamon Sugar with Horchata, and Chocolate Eclair with Vanilla. The creme brûlée was good, but the others were all stars.
