Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in the city! Make sure order spice level 1-10 … I had been calling it medium spicy from east coast terminology aka doing it wrong and the kitchen called me to make sure they had it correct. Finally Indian food spiced correctly (8-10 for me). So happy! Nowhere else is anywhere close taste-wise (chicken makhani is my favorite). And they are super nice people- I hope they get lots of business!! Other things we love and always order: chicken tikka, lamb saag, chicken makhani, biryani, naan, and really I can’t say we’ve had anything bad from here. Until Uber eats we would drive 50 minutes just to visit our old neighborhood and be able to get this food. So well worth the drive!
Excellent quality food and very friendly service staff. Can’t wait to visit again someday!
Really hard finding not only this good of Indian food this far from the coast, but this good of Asian food in general. Use real tandoori ovens, flavors and spices out of this world authentic. Naan is fantastic. Quality of the meat is always superb (my biggest pet peeve at any Asian restaurant). Recommend the Lamb Biryani and Chicken Makhani.
Dinner was very good. Spice level 10 was perfect for the Tikka Masala. Naan was perfect. Overall great experience. Definitely recommend.
Great place. Service was good and the food was awesome! Just wish the portion was bigger, 6 tiny pieces of Chicken Tikki for $20. Not your typical Indian food where you leave stuffed.
Worst Indian food experience in Phoenix. We arrived at 6:20 pm were one of 5 tables occupied still it took till 7:00 to serve water and take order . Dinner serving took another 1.5 hr. Food had very minimal salt content and server was totally clueless on what was happening. He told story of cook being 12 years old but the quality has changed drastically in past 1-2 years . The quantity has reduced to half and dish wasn’t sufficient even for one person and rates were more than other Indian restaurants.utensils were not clean . Even the main plates were not served when main dish arrived . Totally unprofessional service and bad quality food for astronomical prices .
Haven't been here since 2019 but the great taste stays the same. The only dilemma is the lack of staff. The server balanced a multitude of tables skillfully and despite no bartender, host or additional server, she rocked it and made my date night much more enjoyable.Check out Al Hamra for quality dishes at reasonable prices.
Having had really authentic Indian cusine in England, we have found this restaurant is as close as we've found anywhere. Great service, great food, highly reccomend!
Very comfortable booths and tables. Always clean, cool, and friendly. Each dish’s spice level can be adjusted on a scale of 1-10 so you won’t be sweating through your meal unless you want the heat. Recommended for anyone new to Indian food!
Some of the best Indian Food around!
