A great experience. We went for all you can eat and it didn’t disappoint. The service was quite good and the food was prepared promptly. It was fresh and they had a variety of different menu items to choose from. The one piece of advice is to ensure the prices on the menu match the bill. The wine was 4.99/glass on the menu but $5.99 on the bill. The restaurant was very clean.
We came in, sat down, left immediately. The actual restaurant is nice. We did not realize the only option is "all you can eat"; you cannot buy single menu items (we are light eaters) They price is not printed or advertised anywhere- it is $19 a person. Most everything is fried and it clearly states on the menu you will be charged for uneaten food.
Excellent service, reasonable pricing, great menu selection, and quality on par with an all-you-can-eat type restaurant. Wait times for food could be better. You pay extra for what you can't finish but the fee is very reasonable. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.
We have been going to Akitas for a long time. Always enjoyed the meals. However, today we were highly dissatisfied. We went for Lunch All you Can Eat. The Waiter came to our table and was absolutely adament, that we were not allowed to eat just the fish and leave the rice. He then went on to tell us that he would have to charge us for the rice we left. We argued that we had paid for our food and he had no right to tell us not to waste. If you go into any other restuarant and do not finish your meal, nobody is going to tell us that we have to pay extra for what we have already paid for!!! We are highly disappointed in their attitude and find this very offensive. We have been there on many occasions in a large crowd, and nobody has ever told us that we cannot leave anything go to waste. I am not sure we will be returning to this place, and the opinions of many people we have spoken to regarding this matter, are very disgusted and not happy to visit Akitas again -totally taken aback. We pay good money to eat, and it is nobodys business to tell us not to waste, or we will be charged extra. Shocking!!!!!! They refuse to even give a to go box, should there be any leftovers. This message will reach a lot of people. On the lunch menu we were given, beef Teriyaki was an option, and when ordered, we were told it is a dinner item. VERY DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER.
It was $28 a person for the dinner all you can eat sushi. The rolls were good. No complaints. Didn’t feel cheap with the rice to fish ratio like some places do. Overall had a great experience and would come back again sometime.

Love the sushi and the appetizers, the sides that’s included with All you can eat buffet. Great foods, sushi are very fresh and great tasting. Lots of varieties. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends. And the price are good too. Note all you can eat menu is weekdays only.
They charge you extra if you don't finish all the food without telling you "open food charge". Claiming if you don't finish all the food they charge you due to food costs. But if I finished it I would not have been charged. Where's the logic in that? Comical... SCAM!
