My brother and I needed a light lunch so chose an appetizer and an entre to share. Fernando was very patient with us and recommended the TLACOYOS DE HUITLACOCHE, which we really liked. Because we love tacos we went with tacos DE CARNITAS, which we liked but the meat was not very spicy. The additions to the taco made it delish though. If you ask for the complimentary chips and salsa, you will not be disappointed, the sauces were delish also. I want to come back here for dinner, a beautiful building and was clean and tidy. Fernando was the best.
This is a hidden gem! The service was outstanding; extremely friendly, personable and knowledgeable about the menu! We took our waiters suggestions and ordered the lobster appetizer and the filete cuchos. Wow, both did not disappoint. The steak was one of the best, was cooked perfectly and was full of vibrant flavors! The decor and atmosphere were gorgeous as well! Highly recommend Agave! This will be a must any time we are in town! Thank you for the wonder experience, outstanding service and delicious flavors!

Terrible food
Emily, gave us incredible service and knowledge of the food at Agave del Scottsdale. We had the enchiladas with mole' rice and beans. Wow, the presentation and the Mole sauce was the star of the show. We felt like we were Mexico City! Each bite was so tasty and the portions just right. The Cadillac Margaritas were made from scratch, not a mix and refreshing to perfection. I highly recommend Agave del Scottsdale and will be returning often. By the way the atmosphere is perfect and the tequila selection is out of this world, but definitely go for the food and the atmosphere, and ask for Emily! You'll go back often, trust me! Salute!
The mole was outstanding. Both the chicken enchiladas and the poblano Don Manuel came with exceptionally tasty mole. The ceviche was fresh and delicious. Servers were informative and attentive. A great evening out.
Food was very good and beautifully presented. Seafood dishes could have used more salt, but otherwise good. Patio seating was lovely. Overall a very good experience
One of the worst experiences all the way around. We ordered an array of appetizers after waiting 30 min. After we get the apps the guacamole was bad, we ask to take it back. We wait another 40 min for the server to come back and take our order, it happeneds time to time…We get our food in two parts 10 min apart, most of it is cold. Three of the 8 dishes we’re sent back due to them being cold or disgusting. We had a terrible experience, they finally acknowledge after we complained offered a dessert. We said how about taking off the meals we didn’t eat, the owner decided to CUT OUT THE 20% included tip!! We told them that is RIDICULOUS!! It’s on the owner to comp the meal not take it out of there employees pay!! I suggest no one to ever waste a dime on this establishment! And I gave the server $60 and told him he needs to find another job and not work for an owner that will cut there pay!
We don't even live in Arizona and this is literally one of our favorite restaurants! The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We will be back!!
The appetizer was under cooked. The main course was over cooked. The kitchen did not seem to care what they served. Very disappointing since we have been there before
