***Warning*** If you’ve gotten sick from eating at this restaurant please report it to Maricopa County Health and Environmental services ASAP. Enough! This is the third time we eat from this location and get sick afterwards. Severe stomach cramps, nausea, and much more….I went to pick up food today and I was shocked to see how filthy it is inside. I can tell nothing has been cleaned or wiped down in a very long time. Today we picked up a mix of meats to go. The sausage did not look right. It had a brown/green tint to it. We only had a few pieces of the sausage before noticing it did not look and taste right. after a more careful inspection we quit eating it.It was too late. We are now all sick just from consuming a few pieces each.The last 2 times we had Dickies, the guests who ate the green beans got violently sick, and before that, Everyone who had the brisket fell ill.This is a pattern with this location and something needs to get done about it.If you’re sausage looks odd like the pictures attached, do not even touch it!I recommend skipping this restaurant all together.
The only redeeming part of this order was the potato salad. Turkey tasted like rubber and the brisket had zero flavor and the portions were small. I know we’re not in Texas but I’d expect at least a decent amount of BBQ sauce.
Food was great! The only reason for the 3 stars is due to their application. I ordered a rather large pick up order and was relying on their app to give me an update of when my order was ready so I could drive there to go pick it up. The order never actually reached the completed stage. It stayed in the preparing stage for over an hour. I decided to drive down and see what the status was in person. After parking my vehicle once I arrived, I checked my phone again before going in to see if the status had changed and it was still the same. After a brief wait I asked if my order had been made. I was then told that it had been ready for quite a while. I then informed her and showed her what the application was showing me. I was not satisfied with her lack of understanding and her customer service skills. For the amount of money that people spend here to get a good bite to eat from here (or anywhere else), the app should show you every applicable update concerning your order to ensure a timely pick up to ensure a good hot meal without having to microwave it before eating it...
Quality at this location has consistently declined. Orders are frequently wrong and workers there seem to never understand their own menu. The last straw for me was driving 20 minutes for my mobile order, only to be told when I arrived that they no longer sell the items I ordered. No phone call, no regret from them. Sad. This was once a place my family really liked.
I was the only one inside eating for 30 minutes. Not once did anyone clean any pre existing mess up. Nor did I see any of the employees after I received my food. The stainless steel looks nasty , the floor is unswept , there is electrical conduit hanging down from a bench.A dirty restaurant is not run properly and if it’s not clean on the outside ???? Well you can guess what’s on the inside.
We keep giving this place more chances, but it’s just not getting better. We just got another big order, and they are very stingy with their sauces. Ordered 2 large meat portions, rack of ribs…they send ONE very tiny container of sauce. This happens all the time. The Mac n Cheese was super runny. When we’ve been in the restaurant, the manager is very rude and not friendly at all. We keep hoping it will get better, but it hasn’t so far.
Pathetic. Stopped in on Saturday. No one in the restaurant except one couple in line. 3 people working. Only guy working said it would be 15 - 20 minutes BEFORE they could take our order. A bit indignantly as well. Not even the courtesy of an explanation of why. Drove to Rudy's. Happy to do so each time now. Sorry guys, pathetic.....
stopped tonight to pick up a lb of brisket. it was terrible. very, very dry, and fatty and just horrible. I have had Dickey 2 other times and they were excellent 2 other locations. No I will not go back to the Queen Creek site.. this is terrible. Head office needs to send someone to check this place out.
Was there 2 weeeks ago...this was the worst bbq I have ever had. Sliced brisket was cold and not sliced it was the very ends, clumps and was dry and nasty, ribs were dry and 1 bone had no meat on it they were also cold, my wifes chicken was dry and hard and cold. You would think going there at 4.30 pm on a Thursday every thing would be fresh and hot not dry and tasteless, it was horrible. We have been to Dickeys at least 20 times in Castle Rock Co and there food was good. Never again will i set my feet into this resturant. My dog was happy at least. BTW the cole slaw was old and turning brown YUCK!
Super disappointing. Really had a taste for brisket and rib tips. My order was wrong and I received brisket and brisket burnt ends. Both were disgustingly dry and hard! Like almost choke dry and hard like it was left out since last week. Not even drenching in barbecue sauce could help. Would've done better getting a McRib from McDonald's.Edit: I did get a reply and I did appreciate the quick response. I decided to try again and this time had ribs, potato salad and beans. The sides were great the ribs were just as dry as the brisket and burnt ends my first go around. At this point whoever is cooking the meat needs to be assigned another duty. I will probably try a different location next time as I've had them plenty of times in Washington with no complaints and delicious food.
