We absolutely love Cafe Rio. They have the best sweet pork and I love their fresca salsa. The dining room is always clean and the staff is very friendly especially the cashier named Parker!
So good! Beyond good! We don't have Cafe Rio where I live and anytime I go somewhere that has one I will go out of my way to go eat there. I got the sweet pork barbacoa salad and it was excellent. The sweet pork barbacoa is the most delicious meat on the planet. The salad is the absolute best I've ever had anywhere and I've eaten a lot of salads in my day. I also got a sweet pork barbacoa burrito to take home and it too was absolutely scrumptious. If you go you must try the horchata. Cafe Rio has my favorite horchata out of any that I've tried. My mom also got the sweet pork barbacoa salad and the horchata and she loved hers as well. Our orders were made correctly but the staff definitely seemed bored and like they didn't want to be there.
Nuts!! Drove to the restaurant, waited in line for 15 minutes, got up to order and both rice trays were out. I asked how long until the rice is ready, 5 min. Ok I’ll wait. Wait for 5 min get ready to order a sweet pork burrito and they were out of pork with no time frame of availability!! It’s your signature dish. A smothered pork burrito and your out of rice( a key ingredient to cafe Rio) and sweet pork. That is horrible management of product. Very disappointed!! Ended up leaving with no food and a waste of an hour.Jacob Browning!!!
Cafe Rio used to be one of my favorites. It's gone downhill since COVID. The sauces are watered down, they're cutting corners, the workers are hurried and spilling food (overworked? understaffed?) and they have greatly reduced the amount of meat you get. It just isn't the same. Don't think I'll go back, and that makes me sad.
One of my favorite places to eat. The food is consistently good, no matter what state you are in. Huge plus to me is they honor our military members with a healthy discount as well. I will always recommend Cafe Rio for its food, service, and cleanliness.
Ordered online, paid a bunch extra for sour cream on each taco, added cilantro, drove all the way down to pickup and back home only to find out they absolutely put zero effort into my order. Meat wasn’t even placed on the tortilla. Call customer care and all they want to offer is for me to drive back down to have it corrected.I get it if someone calls and there’s miscommunications, but when you place an online order for very simple add-ons that you’re charging your customer for, the least you can do is double check that the order is correct.Chicken is burnt, tortillas soggy, so much for a fun Taco Tuesday. ??
There is always a line but it goes super fast and the food is soo good. I love the sweet pork any way! You can get enchiladas style burritos too! Fun environment, huge portions and great prices!
The food is decent, we go back because we like it enough, but this time the service and up keep of the store was exceptionally bad. We waited so long in line, there wasn't a trash can and people were throwing away their trash onto the floor unknowingly, and tables were dirty, we had to clean it ourselves to sit down. Seems like it was all young kids working that didn't have a good handle on what needed to be done or they couldn't balance all the things they needed to do.
The fire grilled steak salad was delicious. Chips and guacamole, and mint limeade was great too!!
The food is always yummy and fresh! Plus Diego knows how to make a damn good burrito! Shout out to you Diego for being amazing ?
