Fun atmosphere. Great service.The food: so good. Hot tortilla chips and flavorful salsa. Queso fundido was delicious and creamy. Their handmade tortillas are great.Tacos seem small for price but they load them up and I was full. The pibil was mild and herby; you need to like oregano. The fish was fried to perfection it literally melted in my mouth BUT lacked flavor. The birrio beef was a chefs kiss to simplicity and perfectly moist beef.Would recommend and will go again
So we have eaten here many times and have had a decent experience.Today was wonderful except for the hostess who had a less than positive attitude.We waited over 25 minutes to be seated even though more people were leaving than were seated ahead of us.There were open tables through out the restaurant.3 parties ahead of us while we waited.Finally after getting a table within 10 minutes 5 parties were seated as soon as they walked in.It is unfortunate that this happened and because I am taking the high road I won't short the server' s tip because of the hostess.I wonder how many patrons do not give a favorable tip because of the hostess?

had Alondra S. at ellsworth queen Creek location serve us. she was pleasant friendly and even as people were all over came by frequently to make sure things were well from drinks to food by far she has made this a great experience and my wife and I have been here multiple times and were very pleased with her services as our waitress. I ordered the half order of nachos, and it was absolutely delicious. I also ended up ordering two sangria's, as one just wasn't enough! This is definitely one of the best Barrio Queen's to satisfy your appetite.
There is a reason Famous Dave's is buying Barrio Queen, this place rocks.Awesome menu with several options for the dietary restricted (Vegan, Vegetarian, etc). A lot of the menu looks familiar but with Barrio Queen spin and they nail it. We have yet to order anything that wasn't terrific and taste bud tantalizing.The table side guacamole is unique and great way to start the meal, whilst you await your libation, of which we recommend any of the margaritas. We have yet to make it to dessert so can't speak on that, but I doubt any ball was dropped for their finale.All the awesome, does come at a price, fortunately the bill doesn't come until the end, so probably best to close eyes and hand over a card :)
Margarita flights - who knew!! Amazing. The People’s Choice was our favorite on the flight. Loved the Skinny and Don Julio even more. The salsa is fresh and unique. We loved their twist on salsa and table side guacamole. Chorizo and chicken taco were fantastic. Great vibe overall!
Definitely one of our date night favorites! We decided to finally introduced the kids and they loved it as well. Food is amazing. The carne asada torta was a big hit with our kiddos, I had the carne asada enchiladas they were fantastic. Definitely recommend the sangria the mango purée made it so good. We had Sebastian as our server tonight and service was incredible! Sebastian was friendly, attentive and checked on us often.
Barrio Queen has become one of my favorite places to dine close to home…Excellent food, great service from well-polished Dillon behind the bar and friendly staff all around. Family type atmosphere included bags outside on the patio!Come and enjoy it for yourself!
