The staff was nice and the environment was very very pretty! Just wayyyy too much for the food. We got maybe 5 potato wedges and a steak that was thin, chewy, and greasy. One friend didn’t even eat his food. Just not worth the money :/ staff and environment was good though!!
What a gem this restaurant is! My husband and I dined here last week with our pup for dinner and could not have had a better experience.The food is delightful and the customer service is top-notch. We sat on the patio and it was super laid-back. The inside looked beautifully decorated, too! we'll have to try inside dining next time.Our server, Cirra, was absolutely amazing and hilarious! Everyone working there is very courteous and were so sweet to our attention-loving pup.I have nothing bad at all to say about this restaurant. Food was perfect and exactly what we ordered, service was fast but not rushed, everyone there has a heart of gold, I could go on and on.PSA to people creeping the menu before you come in: the online menu and the in-house menu differ, I think it's because it hasn't been updated.Try the cauliflower tabbouleh! It's a perfect summer dish.Thank you to everyone at The Black Goat! We can't wait to come back when we are in town next :)
Worst dining experience in Prescott by far. Ordering and delivery of food took forever, we had to ask several times as to when the food would be ready and were assured it was on the way when it clearly was not. Not the place to go if you're hungry walking in the door. Were only a few other parties in the restaurant at the time, priority seemingly given to the few bar patrons. Food was well presented and overpriced to reflect it, and in the end nothing special and not worth the wait or hassle. Bison steaks had good taste but gristly, sides were served cold. Scallop dish was further delayed because part of it was "dropped on the floor". Owner was instantly confrontational and argued about the service issues (exactly how late the food was, to the point of bringing the order ticket out) rather than just try to make it right. He seemed to be clueless as to what customer service means, came off as arrogant. Staff had to apologize for the experience on his behalf. Disappointing end to our evening and the one blemish in an otherwise great weekend stay in Prescott. So many better choices in town for food and overall experience, would strongly NOT recommend. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
Absolutely loved the salmon and the cream puffs! Works or art in presentation and flavor! Amazing taste and atmosphere. The chef and pastry chef are just simply amazing at what they do. Their burning passion for their craft shines through in the food. Definitely repeat customers after tonight!
AMAZING Food, outstanding service, And a great atmosphere! It's so nice to have a new Prescott restaurant that's casual, yet high end. We went with our friends last night and had so much fun. We will DEFINITELY be back!
Just discovered this new restaurant in Prescott and what a great experience. The staff went out of their way to give us exactly what we needed. We have food allergies and because they prepare everything from scratch it was an amazing meal! The restaurant itself is beautiful and clean, very well designed. Overall a great experience and we'll certainly go back again!
