Very Nice Italian.Cosy place to sit, big portions for a reasonable price.Cannelonni with ricotta and meat was delicious.Mama's meatballs is highly recommended.Nice big meatballs with a lot of flavour
We went to Papa's for a birthday dinner with 13 people. We couldn't have chosen a better place!! Everything was excellent, the food was amazing and portions huge! We had a variety of dishes at our table and everyone loved what they ordered. Our server, Ben, was fantastic!! Super friendly, efficient and knowledgeable... Very witty and gracious, too. The entire staff was attentive so we always had whatever we needed. One of the best restaurants we've ever been to!! Highly recommend Papa's!!
Absolutely the best meal we have had out in a long time! No reservations but we were able to get a high table for two. Service FANTASTIC, very attentive without being a nuisance. From the hostess waiter bus people. Everyone polite and service with a smile. Food was phenomenal from appetizer to dessert. And unbelievably prices were also excellent. We will definitely return when visiting Prescott again. Highly recommended.
What a great atmosphere and dinner. Bartender very personable and made a great sangria. We started with an antipasto which was the small, and plentiful for two. Then we chose the homemade minestrone soup. Rich in hearty flavor, and loaded with veggies and pasta. I had. Baked ziti with ricotta while my husband had the alio oil chicken cutlets with spinach special over angel hair pasta. But be warned, both meals were so huge, we had dinner at home the next night.
Great place to eat. Prices very reasonable. Easy walk from the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. Your can't go wrong eating here. Place is very popular so reservations are recommended. Casual attire. Only bad thing is that they close at 8pm.
One of the best dining experiences we had on our trip to Prescott.Food was FABULOUS.Service was friendly and FABULOUS.Ambiance was FABULOUS.Food was an amazing VALUE.When asking a few people where the best ITALIAN FOOD was in Prescott, the universal answer was Papa’s. It was a short drive from our Airbnb and parking was simple. It was down the street from Peregrine Books, a fantastic little book store we went to earlier in the week. Before I describe the food, please know that reservations are suggested, especially on weekends or peak times. Okay, this is all for my public service announcements. Now on to the food:Bread - complimentary, hard crust served with soft butter.Minestrone Soup - complimentary, brought out by Mama herself. Delightful soup with diced vegetables, rolled pasta and sausage. It is a good way to start a meal. It takes her 3 hours just to simmer it each day.Caesar Salad - good, really good, but maybe a little more cheese than I am used to. Still ate all of it.Chicken Prosciutto - lightly breaded chicken, topped with prosciutto, cheese and served over pasta with Alfredo. My son would not share and the portions were huge.Portobello Mushroom Ravioli - chewy and flavorful mushrooms in a cheese sauce that you will want bread to soak up.Cassava Cake - lemon caked with cream, cherries and chocolate chips. I loved it, but did not love the chocolate chips although they did add a certain crunch.Mama even checked on us and took time to make sure our meal was good. She was a delight, as was the army of staff that made sure food came out hot, dishes were removed and drinks were refilled.Just a very pleasant experience. On a BUDGET: Choose an entree and it comes with soup or salad.Want to Splurge: Skip the appetizer (you will be too full) and order an entree, dessert and pair with a drink or bottle of wine. We skipped the alcohol, but had everything else and only spent less than $60 for the two of us.
Absolutely LOVE eating here. If we ever eat out...it's at Papa's. A few times we've tried to eat there, they've said we needed a reservation, but every time I've called (after 4 pm on the days that they are open) the phone doesn't even ring. I'm calling the # listed on Google and their website, so I just wish I had the right number so I can make reservations next time ? The staff, service and food are to die for though!
I took my Italian exchange student to Papa’s and she rated it as the best Italian food in Prescott. We will be back.
Service was great and the food was absolutely amazing. Already had high expectations from what others had said about it. Went above and beyond those expectations!! Definitely make reservations before you go. This place is understandably in high demand.
Food was amazing staff was even better. My wife and I can in on a Saturday night without a reservation and they sat us anyway and was very fast about it. And we will be going back again!!! Darby was an amazing server
