I spent the entire morning hiking in the rugged, shadeless Granite Dells. Come the afternoon I chose lunch for my next goal, and before long I pulled up at the Lynx Lake Café, a favorite from way back. It’s as good as it ever was. I had schnitzel with spaetzle, the latter being German noodles sautéed and smothered in Swiss cheese. What a huge and fabulous meal that was! No wonder everybody is getting fat these days, with restaurants serving such gargantuan portions. I can’t really complain though, since I enjoyed every bite. That place earns a sterling recommendation from me every time I eat there. While waiting to be served I noticed what other patrons were receiving, an array of tempting sandwiches. Maybe in the future I’ll give in to curiosity and order one of those. It’s hard to tear myself away from the German fare, however.

If I could give zero stars I would. I just asked to use the restroom after a hike as the normal restrooms were for some reason closed( very inconvenient) and this rude short waitress had to yell at my face “absolutely not you cannot use our restroom due to a water shortage!!!” ???? LOL LEARN TO TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER YOU COULD HAVE SAID THAT WAY NICER. How about try “sorry miss we cannot have people who aren’t customers using our restrooms we apologize for this inconvenience” it’s not HARD!!!!!!! I work in professional office setting and have to talk to clients in a professional manner ALL DAY. I will never come eat at this restaurant due to that terrible woman who works there. Disgusted taste in my mouth

Parked in the parking lot to ask a question about paddle boat rentals and was informed that the parking lot was for restaurant customers. Come to find out that the web site hasn't been updated for a few years. Employees had no knowledge on any surrounding areas. Bottom line Rude place to visit. By the way my wife and I where treated I wouldn't have bought a cup of coffee there.

I went to Prescott for my first date with a beautiful woman. We spent the day in town around the square, she showed me around, we had BBQ, did some site seeing, was the best time I had in a very long time.We finished the day having dinner at the Lynx Lake Cafe with Nez, her Pitty Pit Rescue. My buddy! Best time in years. Thank you K. T. & Nez. ♥️♥️

The view is great. Hummingbirds are right outside the window. Service is fine. The wait for food is more than 45 minutes AFTER you order. Knowing that you can't catch hummingbirds or eat the view, we will not be back

It is a nice cozy place. Some dishes are very good. It is a little bit pricey for what you get.

My family was told there would be a 15 minute wait to be seated. We were asked to wait outside and that someone would be out to get us. Nobody took my name. We had been waiting for over 40 minutes when we noticed that people were being waited on that had just arrived and had simply grabbed a seat outside. This is an epic failure of management. Party's should be seated in the order that they arrive.

Really rude. The sign outside says they are open for dinner from 4 to 8 pm on Saturday. I went and knocked on the door, employees or owner did not want to come to talk to me just yelled really loud and rude that they won’t open until the next day. Make up your mind and change your sign. If you keep treating customers like that you will be closed for good.

We've been to this cute little German restaurant in the past. It used to be friendly and served a nice variety of menu items (both German and American food). Now I would no longer consider it a "German" restaurant - it only has 3 German menu items that are not all that special. The rest of the menu is limited now too (which is understandable) They also now apply a $3.50 split plate charge - so for me and my son to split the sausage plate ($15.) It actually cost 18.50 + tax + tip. BUT the worst part of this experience is that when we went in - there were only 2 other tables with people and they were finishing up. We ordered and then waited about 50 MINUTES for our lunch to be served. During that time the waitress never came by our table to ask about refilling our drinks. In fact, after I asked for a refill when my lunch came, I had to go get the refill myself. Not coming back.

I had to pay full price for HALF of a burger that was raw. You read that right. Got my burger and half through realized it was raw, waited and waited for waitress and she finally came and said she’s sorry and took the half that wasn’t eaten to show the cooks. Brought my bill with burger still on it. Paid full price for a burger that was raw and half of it taken away and not brought back. On top of all that it took forever to order and to get our food. Highly recommend going somewhere else.
