Being from out of town, we took a chance with reviews that said Lindo was "the best Mexican food in town." We were not disappointed! We were a party of eight and to a person, we loved our respective orders. The obligatory chips came warm and accompanying salsa was wonderful! The enchilada sauce tasted fresh out of the blender and the burritos were divine.
Tacos al carbon meat was overcooked, hardly sauce on at all, most boring I have never had! So this area need some “good Mexican” food. You need to go to Phoenix if you want anything good.
Usually good is good but our server today wasn't ?after bringing me wrong order twice I gave up as I did t want to hold up others in my party from eating while waiting for another. We thought it was strange the server didn't write our order down, she should start because it was a simple order..... Vegetarian burrito, I even pointed at it on the menu??
Loved this restaurant. Menu is extensive but my server was very helpful in her suggestions. Very tasty Pico de gallo. Great virgin Margarita also. Had the lunch special with chicken enchilada and chicken taco. Was delicious. Service was extremely quick and friendly. I would return whenever I come to Prescott.
I really like the experience. it was very busy at 2pm on a Sunday so if you're here on the weekend I would plan accordingly. The huge number of choices on the menu with a number of things that you don't normally see at Mexican food restaurants in Arizona. I try to find authentic Mexican food places as I grew up in a Hispanic family even though I'm a white girl. ?Staff was on point ?I wish the beans had more flavor they looked amazing and very promising but they needed salt or seasoning... something they weren't bad so much , they just looked like my grandma's beans but without that good flavor. They spread across the plate like they should. Unlike some Mexican restaurants where the beans come out in a mound ( too dry) and you know they're not correct because real Mexican beans lay flat and don't mound up when made correctly.Ordered the Steak Tampiquena , grilled asada steak served with a chicken enchilada. They accommodated me having to change the enchilada from mole sauce to green sauce because I have a irritant with nuts and mole is made with nuts. The steak was juicy and very tasty. I would order again. My lunch guest had the Pollo Culichi and I was able to tast test that and it was delicious. It's unique and flavorful without being spicy and the portion was huge. It's also a very rich dish that might be hard to finish therefore, it would probably be a good platter to split and maybe get an appetizer or soup to start.I'll give them 4.2 Stars. As I said I was disappointed with the beans even though they tasted fine but that was my personal expectation skewing my rating . My guest said the rice was just okay so thus the rating.I will be in the area working for the next 6 months so I will consider upgrading my rating after I've had a few visits but we will def be back.
Is very good food and friendly staff!
I reviewed this restaurant several years ago. It was underwhelming, because I considered the food to be bland. However, I have returned several times because the place appears to be clean, the servers are pleasant, and I try to support places that make an effort here. And, this location has something that is almost impossible to get anywhere else...HOT FOOD! The tendency toward lukewarm food everywhere you go is alarming. Now, I just ask for a bottle of Tapatio sauce when I order to spice up my BOILING HOT food. Will be coming back!
Good eating. Careful with the Hot salsa - tounge torch zone (good but really hot). My tamales had the shredded beef and I really enjoyed them. I left very full.
