Great place to catch breakfast. It's a local favorite for sure.
Very nice selection of breakfasts to choose from. Small but not cramped with boots and tables. Service was friendly as well as exceptional without being annoying. My coffee never got cold. My meal was hot and tasty when it arrived. Not fancy, the effort goes into the food and service. The correct choice in my book.
We were there the morning of April 25th. We ordered the chicken fried steak special. It was Delicious. Sally our server was very friendly and efficient. She took really good care of us. If you are up that way be sure and stop in. You won't be disappointed.
You can’t go wrong with the “Early Bird Special” priced at $6.95. Staff was very nice.

Pretty good food. One BIG thing the DB needs to work on is CLEANING THEIR CONDIMENTS ON THE TABLE. Please wipe off very dirty had to use a napkin for the S and P, Tabasco anything on the table!!! Windows filthy and get new shades filthy again!!! Makes me think What does the kitchen look like if they don't clean the front end...just saying folks attention to detail.
The server was not at all friendly. Never made eye contact. Had to ask for butter for toast. Corned beef hash had strange texture. Not going back
One of the top dated breakfast places around and it didn’t disappoint. They have the best home fries I ever tasted. Omelets and waffles were also good. We’ll be back!
And 'ole' Mom and Pop type restaurant with excellent food!!
