It is so sad to see that a restaurant has dropped the ball so badly. When Guacamaya's was still in town before covid hit, they obviously were the ones that kept the quality bar very high. Ever since they closed up, Casa Sanchez is on par with a filibertos or even less. I used to go here quite often because they had a different style than Guacamaya's. Both were very good! The only reason that they were good obviously is because they were competing with Guacamaya's. Once the competition is gone I guess you just dropped the ball and say who cares. I will never go back or recommend anybody to go there.
I had come here for dinner a year ago and was very satisfied with the food, service etc., however this time it was a disappointing experience. I ordered 2 shredded beef tacos with rice. The meat was ok but the taco shell was not cooked evenly. The service by our waitress was very disappointing. She did not look very happy and didnt smile at all. Wanting to move to a more comfortable booth, after just ordering drinks, she told us that we could, but the table would be dirty! That remark pretty much set the tone of the rest of our dinner experience there. After spending close to $50.00 for 2 meals, don't know if I want to chance it again.

My girlfriend and I stopped in to try Casa Sanchez and I must say we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is very nice and we were seated promptly. Our waitress was very nice and courteous. My girlfriend had eaten here before so this was new to me and the food was just wonderful. I ordered the Carne Asada and it was so delicious. Great flavor with that crust and its seasoned all the way through. Very juicy and tender. The refried beans were the best I'd ever had, very tasty and fresh. We'll definitely be stopping in again very soon.
The margaritas as fantastic! I judge a restaurant by the drinks and salsa first. The Salsa was tasty and not too hot.The Chili Relleno was disappointing. Tasted like premade. Not a fresh Chili.The Veggies Enchiladas with spinach and portabella we're awesome.But they don't have vegetarian beans! What? Even if you order off the Vegetarian menu, they serve beans (with lard).Service was great.Very reasonably priced.
Great fantastic food. Love the Flautas, rice and beans. My go to Mexican restaurant.
