Order a lunch special, asked for large which made it 10.49! But I didn't get a drink I was denied. He told me u didn't pay for the drink. I said yes i did it came out to 11 something after tax, then I tipped making it 13 and some change. Then claims i didn't ask for a special. So as i was waiting for my food I watched him take other peoples orders and he literally asked each of them if they wanted the special. Made no sense cause I don't recall him asking me. Point is...DO NOT have it on your menu if your not going to follow thru. Then as I was leaving he decided saying have a nice day would thinking it would make it better, no what would have a made my lunch is the drink I literally paid for!!! SMDH
City Scape, Phoenix, AZ\\nOrdered and paid online and received an email confirmation. When I arrived they didn't have my order, said I ordered too early. Jason, the manager, wouldn't honor my order and I left without my lunch. Spent my whole lunch break to walk there to get my order only to leave with nothing.
I ordered a Veggie Teriyaki Bowl online and selected that I would like the teriyaki sauce. I work nearby, so I walked over, picked up my food, then walked back to work only to find no teriyaki sauce on my bowl once I got back to my desk. Dry veggies and dry rice does not make for a satisfying lunch - luckily I had leftover soy sauce packets from a trip to a different sushi place in the area. WHen making online orders, please double check what you are doing - I can't extend my lunch break to get my food order fixed.\\n\\nI gave 3 stars because I also ordered spring rolls and a croquette, and both were delicious. It would've been a great experience if not for the lack of teriyaki sauce.
Not good at all. The tofu teriyaki was bland and just tofu with rice. Others in the group felt the same about their meat dishes.
They charge for sauce! 50 cent for the 1oz to go packet and 75 cents for a small sauce cup. In sure I'm not the only one that this it's crazy to pay for teriyaki sauce at a teriyaki restaurant haha!
The manager was a little rude but honestly it's downtown so they're busy and the chicken lunch bowl is good so I just smiled and let it go so I could enjoy my food lol my friend got a lunch bowl and some sushi which all came out together very quickly and everything was delicious.
The chicken is pretty good, the rice is cooked fine, but the reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is all of the free sauce. I'm talking teriyaki, spicy teriyaki, Sriracha, spicy mayo, chili sauce, soy sauce, and even a couple others I couldn't identify. I wish every place let you sauce it up as much as you wanted like this one. None of that $1.75-per-extra-little-cup-of-sauce BS here.
White rice taste like soap dish soap and manager advise sorry you can eat it like that or require a refund online. Wish i can do less than 1 star
After doing some business downtown we decided to eat at yogis. We had been for years at the Scottsdale and the Litchfield one. The visit at city scape way different. Rice tasted like soap and after management literally said that's the taste of our teriyaki sauce. We asked to replace the rice he said here in phoenix we don't do that . Wait for a refund or pay another 14.00 for another plate. Worst customer service. Please pay attention to your management team all reviews tell you he is not nice.
If you like your chicken katsu scorched beyond belief, than this is the place for you. Dry burnt chicken that my dog would refuse. Very disappointed. It's even drier than it looks. I don't think my throat will ever recover ??
