There are no French bistros in our hometown, so my wife and I always like to dine at one while we are traveling. Vincent Market Bistro is located in an unmarked room just behind the classier Vincent's on Camelback restaurant. The two restaurants share the same kitchen and restrooms. Our lobster bisque was simply wonderful. It was a decadent, creamy, and completely smooth, but filled with essence of lobster flavor. I wanted to lick the bowl. Our two classic bistro dishes were disappointing. While the beef Bourgogne and Coq au vin were nicely cooked both dishes were lacking in flavor and substance. Home cooking needs to be hearty and rich: these were not. Each was served with a large helping of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. The salad was a disaster. I unwisely chose a strange combination of Treviso Radicchio , smoked trout, and blue cheese. I had never seen this on a menu before and now I know why: these favors do not belong together. The market bistro has a short and inexpensive wine list. All are wines that were chosen to complement the food. People around us seemed to be enjoying their meals. But this was a one-time experience for me.

We had lunch here on February 12, 2020. The service was excellent and the unexpected desserts were delicious. The seafood entrees (halibut and sea bass) were tiny and served on white lettuce. We love GREEN salads and would not return to this restaurant.

We took friends spending the winter in PHX with us this time for lunch and they thought the food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. They are planning to attend a Valentine's dinner here in the main restaurant too. They were surprised that they brought us a small but delicious complimentary dessert.

I cannot get enough of this charming French Bistro. The Duck Confit is magnifique. The soups are superb. The fish is prepared to perfection. Portions are not large, but the prices are a steal. The wait staff could not be more accommodating.

Whoever makes the coffee should be fired immediately. It’s been two hours and my mouth is still on fire.

I waited a long time to try this little gem and I'm VERY sorry that I did...I waited way too long. This place is great. It's small and dark and quaint and cozy and very casual for lunch...but...the food is top notch. I love proper French food and they did not disappoint. From the complimentary croissants to the lovely lobster bisque to the traditional Coc au Vin this is all the real deal. Lot's of fish specials the day I went. I can't wait to go back.

Fantastique! Wonderful French bistro fare at reasonable prices. Ambience extrordinaire! We look forward to our next visit.

Whenever we visit friends in Scottsdale they bring us to Vincent. We drove on from Palm Desert today to see them and asked to go there tonight! We did the 3 courses for $30. The Burata salad was wonderful! Slices of peach, tomatoes and beets with fresh Burata on arugula!!! We all had the veal with mushroom sauce.. served with spinach and fantastic potatoes . Deserts were all excellent. Scott the main man there is fabulous.. so warm and charming . Think we will have to drive the 4 hours back someday soon for a visit with Cari and Rip and the wonderful cuisine!!!

We have never failed to have a fabulous meal at this quaint and totally authentic French Bistro. Vincent is usually in the kitchen cooking one of his gourmet specialties. The chalk-board menu is delightful and reminiscent of yjr Left-Bank bistros of Paris. The prices are extremely reasonable. This is our go-to place when we have out-of-town guests. The wait staff is very attentive.

This little quiet gem of a restaurant is the ideal place to 'get away from it all', where excelent food, great service and the ability to have a conversation are all there. Plus it feels like you're not in the US, let alone the desert. The luncheon goers this day were all ladies 'of a certain age' who know manners and whose sophistication level is way above the hurry-up corporate-owned crowd. I ordered the Coq au Vin and it was perfect, as were the mashed potatoes. The two desserts were beyond description...chocolate that was not American sweet and blueberries on a shortbread...yum. Go. Have a drink. Relax. Pretend it isn't 111 outside. Bon Jour!
