Welp after not going for a year cause last 2 times pizza was burnt, took wife here for birthday. Ordered an ask, Please don’t burn pizza, lightly cooked she said, we said yes. Well… Burnt
It was good. I was invited to go here with a group of friends... And I am vegan. They do have a couple of vegan options, but not much. The food was fine. Nothing to rave about.
This is the second time we stopped by at this place and had their pasta with meatballs and then Italian sandwich with salad and onion rings. Food is made fresh and service was fast. The staff are very pleasant kids. The whole experience was amazing and definitely recommended this place to others.
Their deep dish pizzas are well worth the wait. Expect to wait for 1 hour + on busy nights for carry out, but not a big deal if you order online as they will give you an estimated wait time. Friendly/attentive staff and the best deep dish I’ve had outside of Chicago.
My husband really like the Chicago style pizza. I’m not a pizza fan & really have found anything I like there yet. Also the Caesar dressing was vinegar based for some reason.
I'm originally from Chicago and have tried quite a few pizza places in AZ including Lou Malnatis. Veros is a step above Lou Malnatis and what I would consider the most authentic/close to Chicago style I've found. Absolutely delicious.Also, don't skip the gravy bread!
Very nice Chicago style pizza. Toppings were very good quality and presentation was nice. Overall a nice dinner option.
Lively Chicago pizza bar with good food and a friendly atmosphere. Like any authentic pizzeria ordering the deep dish will sign you up for a 30 min+ wait, but when it comes out it's worth it!! If you're looking for something faster but still tasty they have plenty of thin crusts (though it might mean you're a New Yorker).
