The food is absolutely outstanding. I tried 3 dishes. All were different but excellent. Spicy. Most had a real kick to them so be aware. I should probably give 4 stars or for the food only, 5 stars. But the service was rather disjointed. Server came to remove my last plate and rather sneakily held my check in her hand behind her back. So no effort to encourage or ask about dessert. Weird.Took forever to get a glass of wine. Yet they book your table with a time limit attached. Vibe is modern industrial. VERY loud. They are not part of the local Fox Concepts group but they are not totally independent either. They have various affiliates around the Valley.
Incredible Latin food and it stands out from the typical Mexican cuisine in Phoenix. Great service and staff were friendly and attentive. Quick food service. Dynamic cocktails. Great vibe. Definitely check out if you’re a foodie or just want something to mix it up.
Excellent service and food! Every person we came in contact with was so kind and informative and patient with us first timers. We enjoyed the elote, steak tacos, and pork belly tacos SO much, it was hard to pick a favorite. Everything was so rich in flavor. The non alcoholic beverages were also a hit for someone doing a cleanse. Thank you for a great experience!
Everything was very good quality. Our waitress was very nice and easy going. I will say the guacamole needs improvement, and the chicken (appetizer) was way too oily. The ceviche and sea bass was delish. Great atmosphere, nice views. They have indoor area, high tops and outdoor seating. Free parking in front but limited.
The level of crispness is just right for karaage! The bread comes with mussels could have removed salt as the whole dish is already very savory. Tried the salmon taco but I’ve had better ones. The texture of the salmon taco is a bit plain. Elote (Mexican corn) tastes quite heavy. Still, highly recommend the karaage and mussels! Great service and good vibe.
An unsuspecting little gem with delicious food (salmon tacos and brisket tacos were my favorite) but the star was the fried Korean chicken. Order it.Long wine/beer list and yummy cocktails. Very friendly and helpful staff (wearing masks). Outside seating available.Only downside is parking can be a little tricky. Will be back!
First time eating here. Service was great. Food was really excellent. White bean puree was awesome. The banana bread dessert is crazy good. A bit pricey, but well worth it given overall quality.
Very interesting dishes with great flavors. Salads are light and not weighed down with dressing. You can try various items given the portions are smaller the higher up you are in the menu. The bottommost items are the largest portions. We tried the rajas tostada, brussel sprouts salad, salmon tacos and black bass dishes and all of them were different and maintained high levels of interest. The food definitely did not get boring. The service was great, the host and waitress were very patient and friendly. As other reviewers mentioned, the inside is a bit loud but it may be the design of the interior that accentuates that. There were some louder than usual patrons as well... Not the fault of the restaurant. The cocktails were served extremely well with interesting variations on classics and served the right way with crystal clear ice blocks, excellent garnishes etc. They really do know what they're doing and some may complain their prices are high but you do get what you pay for here.
Amazing service (thanks Grace!). Grace was proud of the food she served and happy to share her favorites with meThe flavors, delicate and bold! The contrasting textures...OMG the crunch with the ceviche! Everything is beautifully presented!Amazing food! There is a genius in the kitchen here who combines, flavors and textures with flair! Celebrate by eating here!!
I can’t stop going to this restaurant! If this menu were a record album, every cut would be a #1 single. But I do have my favorites and there are lots of them starting with Cody’s (bartender) cocktails. Sit at the bar. Order anything and it will be amazing. Then get the guacamole with house-made chips. There’s something unique about it. The ceviche is the same way - you’ve never had a tropical ceviche like this and it’s addicting. Speaking of addiction, the Karage appetizer is heroin for flavor addicts. I have to have this. Citrus and spice with an Asian flare, they are the best chicken tenders you’ve ever tasted. The cauliflower is outrageously tasty. After these and other really great apps, my wife can’t not order the Faroe Island Salmon tacos. Me? I have to get either the pork chop or the ribeye carne asada steak. You have never had a more tender, juicy bone-in pork chop anywhere. It’s life-changing. And the ribeye steak is so juicy and tender without too much fat. You’ll never get a better steak anywhere. The flavor Chef James Fox applies to this is just dazzling. I wish I knew his recipe. Served with smoky, grilled onions. Hint: save some, take it home, chop it up with the onions and some potatoes, sautéed quickly for breakfast (hash) and put a soft egg on it. Varsity. Pure varsity.
