We would frequent this location roughly every 3-4 months before covid-19 hit, and we did not go anywhere for essentially 2 years. The staff was always accommodating and observant, and the food was tasty and bountiful for what was ordered. We went back the day before Easter, and arrived a little more than an hour before they were closing. It was the least busy we've seen (normally was at least a 15 minute wait, even when we would arrive late) and we were sat near the cashier area. I'm not sure if it was because it was near closing, or a holiday, or the staff, but we listened to the wait staff yell at each other, yell at the cooks, joke with each other, and just be loud and detracting the entire visit. What I would consider being actions from a staff used to working harder and not knowing what to do with themselves during a slow period. The wall-side connection of our seats had a lot of old wrappers and pieces of food, obviously not cleaned in a while. Our food was ok--I had the California Benedict and the muffin was nearly burnt, and the avocado already showing brown spots, and the hash browns were flavorless. The wife ordered buttermilk pancakes but was given wheat (or whatever the other option was), but the rest of her meal was OK. Our waitress was distracted, didn't check on how things were, and left the bill without asking if we wanted anything else (I was going to order a breakfast sandwich to go). I'm hopeful that it was just an off day and that things will be better our next time.
Great place for breakfast or lunch. Excellent food. Awesome omelettes. Big portions, had to take some home. Server was pleasant and efficient. Got my food quickly. No complaints whatsoever!
OK, first off, the portions are HUGE! I got the Spinach Florentine, and I made it into two servings... And it was just as good the 2nd day.Then there's the service. I don't know what they're giving the cooking staff in the back, but our order came out in, like, 5 minutes - NO joke! It was like, wow, it's here - ALREADY??The staff is always friendly and the guy at the host station even remembered our names. Now THAT'S good service!Keep it up US Egg! We'll keep coming back!
We had a great brunch at this restaurant. The food was great. The mimosas were enjoyable. The wait staff was friendly. The service time was a little long. This spot gets a 4.3.
Love the food love the people just wish they had Just Egg so I can stop going to scramble for a vegan breakfast burrito. They still made me a vegan breakfast burrito here per my request which I appreciate but Just Egg brings the vegetables together lol
I usually go to the Tempe/ Scottsdale location and absolutely love the service, ambiance and more importantly the food is always on point the owner is always there and he's very pleasant and you can see he genuinely takes pride in all the details.So when I discovered there was a US Egg a few blocks away from my favorite hiking spot, I was so excited, but boy was it a let down.It was disappointing this location lacked on service, our food took a very long time to come out and when it did the order was wrong and my son found a disgusting long hair that was baked into his biscuit.The server apologized and I was expecting for the manager to come out and talk about it and instead we got the cold shoulder like we did something wrong, I will definitely stick to the Tempe/ Scottsdale location.
This place is amazing. The other day I asked if they could do a meal in 5 minutes. And they said yes and they delivered and it was fresh and perfect. Definitely recommend the biscuits and gravy with a couple eggs in their hash browns. Excellent!!
A nice spot for brunch, food is really good and service has been great.
Food was great waitress was outstanding. She was patient and explained and made suggestions for a fantastic experience. We were checked on by her and the manager and so we didn't feel abandoned after the plates came.
You know when the food's too good you forget to take the picture before you start eating. This was that place. Yummy! And the condiment bottles were clean. That's a plus.
