I ordered a fried chicken combo with macaroni and cheese. It was delicious! Mac n cheese is delicious. Also the hot sauce they make is bomb! The cool aid is so good! ? I’m definitely going back.
my husband went there yesterday. ever since he tried chicken and waffles in long beach he made it a mission to try everyplace where they sold them. he saw this place was selling them so he craved them.he asked about the meal . ( even tho he wasnt suppose to because we had just started keto). to the lady that was there . it would not hurt you to let a potential customer know that you will help them when you can.he waited for a few minutes and finally decided to walk away . he has a business aswell and he prioritizes customer satisfaction. he migth try this place again. if he does we will update review.
Ordered online. They make replace a bunch of stuff because they are out. Then after all they cancel my order. That's really trashy. I had looked forward to trying you're food. But now I never will. You wasted fourty minutes of my time to not do the only job you have... Sad then on they phone they are rude ahaha. Well good luck. I'm sure you won't make it.
Talk about Great food!!! Greens are to die for! so far all I have had are the sides. Beans are on point! Corn bread is off the chain!! can't wait to try the catfish!!
Everything we ordered was delicious. From the chicken and waffles, the Turkey leg, and the catfish po boi sandwiches! The country greens are the most delicious thing I've ever tasted!
When I came to the establishment there was young lady at the counter she greeted us allowed us to look at the menu to figure out what we wanted to order then a gentleman approached with a baby and as she reached for the baby she allowed the child to walk across the counter and she did NOT disinfect afterwards then while waiting for my order she sat on the counter and slid across to the pedestrian side and came back and still did not wipe off or sanitize the counters. When I got home to eat my food my greens were extremely salty, my yams were okay, my Mac and cheese was stringy, and my fish had a cleaner taste to it as if someone had just wiped the prep area off before they placed the fish to be prepped or seasoned whichever. And something was in my yams and as you can see I didn’t eat very many a simple taste.
I had asked for the flounder and the owner had rang me up for catfish when I told her I didn’t want catfish she began to argue with me as to what I had ordered, I then said it was fine and she could give me my money back. She continued to argue with me to the extent that she was so discombobulated that she couldn’t open the register. Shen then told me that I wasn’t going to get the flounder or my money back. A business that steals from their customers is not a good business.
First impression is everything. Here's my first visit experience:The music, OMG!? Derogatory and very loud. A poor representation of such a nice place!As for the food, the catfish was seasoned to perfection but could be fried just a bit longer. Unfortunately, the cornbread muffin was nearly burned. The Dirty rice was dry and cold.Staff lagged and chatted as if there weren't any customers waiting on orders. Young lady at front desk proceeds to put on gloves, then, reached into her pocket and checked her cell phone while preparing to-go plates, cross contaminating from her phone directly to a cornbread muffin. Also, Cross contamination with serving utensils gathered and used from a single container instead of being placed within each specific side item. What if a customer's allergic to a particular side dish?It's a nice establishment. The setup is inviting and I personally love the green grass wall. There is definitely some work needed in both professionalism and safer food practices.
First time here and we will be back. We got 2 turkey legs with green beans, greens, Mac n cheese and peach cobbler. Turkey legs were huge. Very flavorful and the greens and green beans didn't have pork in it so that made my hubby happy.
I will definitely be a return customer. The Seafood Mac-n-Cheese and Garlic Rosemary Lamb Loin Chops specials were really good. The daily menu is also great! But in addition to the daily menu, I can’t wait to try their other specials… fried crab legs, fried lobster tail, rotating desert specials. This is a well thought out restaurant with really great food.Truth Soul Food Factory, I hope you keep growing in the valley.
