It's LGBT friendly. Staff is welcoming. Has free arcade games. Lounge room is small, but what makes this place great is the patio, if you want to be outside. Good beers on tap. There was one with raspberry infused flavor. Would recommend
Awesome barcode! I only stopped by for an early afternoon beer so there were not many people there but I imagine it could get pretty fun. They have several arcade cabinets; all of which seem in good condition. They have a large selection of board/card games. They also have a nice big back patio with plenty of seating and a section for bags/corn hole.
TL;DR: Not a family friendly bar, avoid if you have kids, or enjoy fun.I have been a patron of this bar since the place opened, and have always enjoyed my time at The Thunderbird Lounge. To my disappointment and surprise, my wife, my friends and I had an awful experience.It was a warm, May evening. The taco truck was slinging delicious street tacos and the trivia was about to start. As the sun went down (around 7:30-8pm) we gathered at the T-bird lounge for a night of trivia, tacos and a couple drinks. Unfortunately as the night was starting, the bartender, I did not catch her name, approached our table and informed us that we were no longer welcome at the bar as we had a infant with us. She continued and said “after dark we don’t allow children.” We were shocked to say the least. We had been at this bar multiple times with our baby before (after dark) and had never been informed of this “rule.”AZ law allows children in bars with their guardians and I thought the Thunderbird lounge was a friendly neighborhood bar. I guess I was wrong.Very sad, I enjoyed the time I spent there previously.
This cute spot needs to remain a local secret. It's got the right mix of chill vibe, retro video games, great/friendly service, great drinks but most importantly, a friendly staff. Hidden from view, this place has comfy booths to share drinks and laughs with friends or cozing up with someone special. If you prefer for space, there's an outdoor seating section.

This place was really cool and transfers you back in time. I went during trivia night..it’s more fun with groups if you want to win. There is no food there but I hear they have food trucks out back at times.

Place looks small but, is huge when you get inside. They have a very large out door space that is the size of the whole building. Love all the arcade games.
