Food and service were great! I had the Catfish dinner and my spouse had the French Dip.
I used to go the the Q bar and Grill on Olive for years. I was very sad to see it closed during the pandemic. I kind of knew this one existed and was hesitant to try as I was unsure it would be as good as the original. But not to worry! Great fish fry and the same atmosphere. I am so happy The Other Q Bar and Grill exists and already look forward to coming back!
We enjoyed a great lunch in this fabulous local spot. Fridays are all you can eat fish and chips. We had that and a patty melt. Both didn't disappoint. Great hot fresh cooked food and portions that filled you up for the rest of the day. Don't let the outside or the interior decor fool you, this is where you come to enjoy great service and a fantastic meal.
First time trying Walleye. Perfect batter, really tasty fish. Homemade tartar and cocktail sauce had great flavor. Friendly, attentive service.Will try their custom burgers next time.Would recommend.
Went to try their Friday fish fry. It was pretty good, not the best but not the worst. Also got their hamburger and it was pretty good. Nothing fancy about the place but it doesnt need to be...would like to go back and try other things. The customers seem to be a lot of regulars and it was packed, which tells you it must be pretty decent. The service was a bit slow and our girl rarely came back to check on us or even ask if we wanted more fish or get refills on our empty drinks but I will cut her a break, they were busy and she was pregnant. ?
I ordered an iced tea unsweetened the server brought me something with tomato juice in it! So she took it back brought me this filthy cup with something in it! I didn't even try what was in the cup!! Then she comes back with the check, and says I didn't charge you for the tea!!! Good because I didn't have anything to drink!!! Never going back to that place again!!! Yuck!!!! I give this place A BIG FAT ZERO!! On my rating!!!!
Great place I haven't been at for over 10 years. Recently stopped in with a buddy and it hasn't changed much. The Q wraps are very tasty!
We've been coming here for years. Some of the best fried fish available. Don't expect fancy.
Great place, super friendly staff when they aren't overworked. Pretty quick at getting you served. I've only had appetizers there. Smells awesome in there tho.
