We liked the lasagna. We added 2 meatballs and it was delicious. Serving sizes are just average for the price and service was a bit slow. Overall good atmosphere.
Pasta has a fantastic home made flavor. The marinara sauce has a great flavor not sweet like others and i love that. I wasn't a huge fan of the heavy celery flavor the minestrone soup had but it was still decent. Loved the blackberry Italian cream soda, the tiramisu, and the garlic bread as well. I would have rated the restaurant higher had it not been for the service. Our ticket got lost and the food was plated pretty messily as they were likely in a hurry to send it out and seemed like they just threw it on the plate. The server was friendly enough but hardly came over. The manager did apologize to us but the experience did put a bit of a damper on my overall mood.
This place is incredible. The food is delicious, the drinks are tasty, the decor is unlike any other. We were blown away and will come back.Only comment is our server was extremely quick, pushingly rushing, and messed up several of our orders. I’m still giving five stars because I think it was just that server, not sure what the rush was though because there were plenty of empty tables and no wait.
Good food nice atmosphere and friendly servers. Top notch in my opinion. Had a guy doing balloon hats and animals sadly he avoided our table like the plague.
All i can. Say is One and Done.The best part of the restaurant was the service and cheese bread,oh and decoration.Quite honestly i dont know that huge deal of the food, ut i felt that it needed more flavor. I got the chicken parm for $20 wife got lobster ravioli and both lacked flavor. Our server Z was amazing. Took time with my daughters to go over the menu. And explain the choices. Unfortunately i dont think its worth the drive from apache junction... but thanks for the experience...
Always luv dining in this cute place which is a great stop off before a game, concert, play production, etc. downtown, or a fun date night. Point to note though ......Prepare yourself for the crowds.....Call ahead & make a reservation to avoid long waits.Ambiance is antique turn of the century with stained glass & wood everywhere. You'll feel you've stepped back in time with velvet chairs, barber shop chairs in the bar waiting area, crystal chandliers, etc. Food is authentic, handmade pasta (my fav angel hair), delicious hot bread served with entrees (or salad). Recommend Chicken Marsala with the delicious mushroom & wine sauce, although other entrees are in stiff competition like the Sicilian meatballs (YUM).. Manager "Mr. E", can make it happen if you have any challenges with wait, etc. We will be back again.
Always a delight. My wife and I have grown up visiting on special occasions and now we get to share in that for ourselves whenever a special (or just because) occasion presents itself.
Horrible for delivery. Portions are tiny for a $21 plate. Don’t do delivery not worth your money. Then when I called to let them know that was ridiculous they said not there issue. I need to call grub hub but I let them know Grubhub didn’t make the food…. Horrible customer service. I reached out to that email the day the had commented and no one reached back out.. HORRIBLE SERVICE..!!!!!
Hadn't been to this location in years, found out they got rid of my favorite item so I had to order something else... I was bit let down with my raviolis, not so hot and the plating seemed a bit of a mess.The wait staff was friendly and a man, who I assume was the manager or owner was walking around picking up the slack of the waiters, he was very nice.It was a bit of a wait to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant and then it took a long while between being seated, then ordering drinks, then the food order, we almost left.It felt like the restaurant was going through an adjustment phase.
Good food although small portions. Quaint and comfortable atmosphere. Problem with service. An unknown waitress brought my food out. Didn't say a word and just plopped my food on the table and walked away. 15 minutes went by still no sign of our waitress or my girlfriend's food. We finally saw our waitress and got her attention. She look bewildered that I had my food. She went to check on the rest of our meal and came back 5 minutes later saying it will be out in 3 minutes. No apology. No excuses. Just held up 3 fingers and said that's how much longer we needed to wait. We will not good back.
