The ambiance and decor was amazing! The very handsome manager worked his magic and made sure everyone was taken care of and had what they needed, he made it look effortless! Staff was very attentive and on their game. The patio area was probably the most beautiful patio set up I've ever seen. The food was so so at best. I took my Mom for a belated mother's day brunch. The omelettes were so small, no seasonings, very little flavor, hash browns were minimal. I was not impressed at all and my Italian Mamma was not too thrilled either. Great place to go for ambiance and cocktails, skip the food.
I throughly enjoyed the casual atmosphere, good food, and fun twist on classic cocktails. The Living Room’s non traditional seating was very comfortable and relaxing. It felt like I was enjoying freshly cooked food on my living room couch.
Service was great. Food was delicious, our table ordered 3 different entrees and we were all happy with our meals. The staff did all they could to make our experience outstanding.
We hit this place up on a Saturday night before a movie and were pleasantly surprised at how really good the food is! Everyone in my party got all different dishes and everything was pretty delicious! Their butternut squish soup was amazing! Good atmosphere with a lot of comfortable seating. They also had a singer/guitar player who was nice background music and not overly loud so we could still talk.
We sat outside during lunch on a Tuesday and despite having the place mostly to ourselves, service was slow. That said, the avocado chicken sandwich and the Italian sandwich were both very good.
Pros:- Comfy outdoor seating (couch-style)- Food was delicious ?- Morning mimosas (always a plus! ?)Cons:- Very busy on a weekend around lunch...the tables are seated a little bit too close for comfort ?- Waiter was not very attentive (may have been due to business)- Live music was blaring so loud you could barely have a conversation without raising your voice several levels (not quite yelling, but dangerously close! ?)
My visits keep getting better.Post Massage post up & it was Happy Hour time. We sat on the enclosed patio with a live-fire pit serving as our table. If there were any complaints they would have ended up on the table.Happy Hour 3P-6P Weekdays:*$3 off for HH Food Items & $7 Flatbreads*$2 Off Wines by the Glass, Flights, Well Cocktails, Signature Cocktails & Draft BeersGreat service by our recent college graduate who oozed out professionalism & mannerism so naturally...hence the group of AARP Beauties couldn't stop raving about him. When the manager made his way to our table we definitely shared our sentiments.Establishments as this make it easy & comfortable for me to get out & dine in. Other locations are on Queen Creek Road in Chandler & on N Pima Road in Scottsdale.Call the Living Room a wine place, a restaurant, a brunch spot, or a cafe, it's a dope vibe with a welcoming atmosphere making the ambiance top rated. I like to reference price points & regardless of lunch, dinner, or brunch prices are easy on the pockets. Especially while listening to free live music - we came on Thursday.I'll absolutely be back upon my return to PHX.
We are new to the area and went there for the first time. We called ahead to reserve a table specifically a fire table and we were told you can't reserve unless you have 10 ppl. When we got there all the fire tables had a reserve sign on it and it did not look like 10 ppl would fit on each table we asked if we could sit there but they said no. No one came in for any of the fire tables the entire time we were there. It was a non busy night and the service was pretty slow. Other than that the food was really good. Maybe they should be more clear to ppl who try to call ahead to make reservations.

The ambiance was great, music was great and the outdoor seating is nice as well but our fire pit was out of commission. The food was yummy but that's about the only good thing I can say. The service was less than mediocre. They were not busy in the slightest and our server checked on us MAYBE 3 times. The coffee always came out cold, and I don't mean luke warm I mean room temperature coffee. Once we emptied the water carafes they were never refilled or even asked if they could refill them.Again the food was tasty but it also came out cold. It was almost as if it had been sitting for out for 10 minutes before being brought to the table.I have worked in restaurants for years and its the little things that were missed and those tend to be the things that make or break a customers experience.I also understand the automatic gratuity for parties 6+ but I would not have tipped the 20% I was required to because the service was so less than satisfactory.
