We love this place. Sooooo many gelato flavors. The food is great too. Its perfect for a hot Phoenix afternoon!
We LOVE LOVE our Gelato Spot.
As an European i can judge this from a different point of view:Fruit ice cream is far away from beeing "good"Coffee icecream is "ok"If you are looking for an Italian Gelato do not go there because there was nothing Italian.
pizza and dessert are all good. great friendly staff
The fam loved the pizza and my Salad was a work of art. Very satisfied!
Good pizza, comfortable outdoor seating and yummy gelato. We plan to go again!
This review of for their pizza. Went here for lunch because of their sign stating that they are a pizzeria. I ordered the Margarita and my co worker the pepperoni lunch pizza. Both were absolutely terrible. The margatita pizza was completely bland and tastless and the pepperoni was completely oily and soggy.
Six of us met for an early dinner at 5. None of us had eaten here, but one had looked it over and thought it might be fun. When we arrived at 5, only two other tables were occupied. When we left at 8, the place was nearly full. Lots of young families coming in for gelato. Appetizers split 6 ways didn't fill us up, but we all got enough of each to enjoy each app. The Roasted Cauliflower was the best, with the Roasted Meatballs a close second. Lots of variety on the Bruschetta board with a variety of flavorful meats. House and Caesar salads were cold and crisp, with excellent dressings. We shared Testarossa, Capricciosa and Margheritta pizzas, with the last being gluten free. All were very flavorful and amazing in such a small shop that clearly seems to be primarily a Gelato shop. We all agreed that we would be very happy to return for dinner there again. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the Gelato. What an advantage to sit at our table and have our server secure six different serving for our table. The line to get Gelato had gotten rather long around 7:30. The bill was surprisingly reasonable considering all we consumed. Seems all was taken care of by a staff of five, two in the kitchen and three up front. There were some waits, but nothing unreasonable.
I'm so glad the Gelato Spot moved into our neighborhood. No more having to drive all the way to Old Town Scottsdale to enjoy some gelato. In addition to gelato they also sell wood fired pizza. If you are going to have appetizers try the roasted cauliflower. Coffee lovers they have you covered with a variety of coffee options ☕
The gelato is top notch! I haven’t had that good of gelato since being in Italy last. The staff was on top of their game even though they had only 2 people working at the shop. Overall it was a lovely experience!
