A very homey and relaxing place to dine, The Coronado exceeded every expectation I had. Upon arriving, you are to wait to be seated. We were greeted immediately, and told to pick a white table. Water was given to us when we sat down, menus are accessible via QR code. Had ordered the famous cauliflower tacos and a slice of lemon strawberry cake. The food came out in 10 minutes, it was hot, flavorful and very filling. The ingredients are very fresh as well. The service I received was top notch, the server was friendly and interactive, checking in with us when we needed something and making sure the food was ok etc. I would love to come back here and I will be recommending this place to many people as well!
Cool ambience and decor and the food was really yummy for brunch. We got the avocado toast, it was so flavorful. The smoky eggplant sandwich was tasty as well. Service was good and cool, unisex bathrooms. We were visiting from out oftown but would definitely return someday!
We love everything about The Coronado! The friendly service, incredible food and relaxing, airy vibe make this one of our favorite spots. On our last visit, it seemed like the kitchenForgot our daughters meal. Our waitress noticed immediately and went back to the kitchen to take care of it. When she came back she offered our daughter a free dessert. Which we happily accepted. All 3 of our meals were so delicious and generously portioned. When the check came, not onlyDid they comp my daughter’s meal, but they gifted us with a HUGE box of pastries. Literally one of each offered…. And let me tell you, those were so so tasty later with a cup of coffee, we are still talking about it!For me personally , the Coronado is a special place because I can eat whatever I want and not worry about anything. There’s never going to be a chunk of something I won’t eat polluting my food. I don’t have to ask a million questions. I don’t have to beg anyone to change gloves and wash their hands. No one judges my diets choices. I ALWAYS leave full, fat, and happy.
10/10 recommend!!! I’ve been in Phoenix about 3 years and hands down the best vegan cuisine I’ve ever experienced here and in general. Had their short stack pancakes today which were light and fluffy, sweet but not too sweet, melted in your mouth. Their red potato hash is to die for. Menu has something for everyone. Prices are fair and service is impeccable. Cannot recommended enough!!!
I absolutely love this place. I used to visit a long time ago during its previous location on the main road (3rd street?) This upgraded location is even more beautiful and unique than ever.I don't regularly eat vegan food but this location makes you forget that you are. I had the Cauliflower Tacos and brown sugar lemonade. The Cauliflower is battered and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Placed on a white corn tortilla (3 tacos total) spinach (I think) some type of seeds (pumpkin?) And a delicious green lime-avocado based salsa that just pulled the entire meal together.My waiter was extremely kind and attentive.I look forward to visiting again soon ?

Couldn't post last night no sure why, but let me start here....You don't have to be vegan to eat here. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and how everyone made sure we were taking care of and our every need was addressed.To Chole' "Thank You" for the history lesson and menu recommendations, you are truly amazing and knowledgeable, keep being the free spirit you are it's infectious in a good way.I had theBeet & Quinoa Burger with fries, homemade ketchup and a blackberry Lemonade, meet a friend there and they had the Cesar Salad and the spiced Chai tea....All in all this place is awesome, don't sleep on them.I will be back soon.
This restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and I really enjoyed the aesthetics of their indoor seating as well as their patio all the way out to their parking lot even. The servers were all very friendly and the service they provided was excellent. Their Oreo scones were absolutely delicious and the smoky eggplant sandwich I had for my entrée was also very tasty especially with their house dipping sauces.
It is always a good sign when a local restaurant has a good amount of people waiting outside. We ordered Jackfruit flautas and Mushroom asada tacos and both were excellent. The mushroom taco has a surprisingly lingering heat ?
