Great relaxing ambience, moody and chill live music, delicious food. Would have totally given it 5 stars if not for the slow service. I will come back since I live so close to this place but really hope the pace of service picks up a bit.We had the crispy buttermilk chicken, the beets salad and curried Mac and cheese. The buttermilk chicken was perfectly cooked and the jam it came with was incredible. The beets salad needs more than one pistachio nut in it but tasted good for the most part. The curried Mac and cheese is spicy and flavorful and unique. The portion sizes were perfect.
My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday night. They were packed, but service was still great. Nice wine selection. Tapas and charcuterie board were fantastic. Lots of combinations and options that are uncommon. Clean restrooms. Seating areas comfortable and lighting was just right. Felt like an upscale house party.
I have been visiting this establishment for may years through some owner changes. The new owner, Shannon Rush, has done an excellent job weathering Covid and Chef changes. My dinner last night of Squid Ink Pasta and the Butter Cake for desert was outstanding! I highly recommend this establishment for it's excellent food, comfortable environment, and great service. You will not be disappointed.
Food was INCREDIBLE! Everything we ordered was so flavorful: buttermilk chicken, squid ink pasta (I think this was a special), and baked goat cheese. I really can't believe how good some of these seemingly simple dishes were. We'll for sure be back soon!
I love this place! live music Fridays and Saturdays great food and The sommeliers really know the wines. tonight we had Lago Cerquieta and a scrumptious Salmon Nicoise. Perfect evening! one of the best salads I have had locally! sweet purple yams, grilled salmon (and alot of it) with cannelli beans ans thinly sliced sweet red onions. green goddess dressing pulls it all together! sweet, savory and a touch of sour in some alive green olives. absolutely perfect!
Came on a Thursday which was Bottle & Board night = 1 bottle and choice of 2 crostini dishes. The wine recommended was a great match to the most creative crostini blends I've had. We relaxed at twilight on the patio while the local talent Frank Mackey played an eclectic mix of Elvis Costello, Eddie Vetter, Cat Stevens and Neil Young. Ambiance, food, killer wait staff all made for a perfect night.
Shannon and the staff are always wonderful. I LOVE that they constantly have a rotating specials list of food and wine. It's like a new adventure every visit for those willing to take their tastebuds outside the standard cab and merlot monotony that you get everywhere else. I say yes to adventure.
Had the olives, baked goat cheese with bread and red wine, don't remember which one, but it was good. Service was excellent, was asked a few times if we wanted anything else. Environment was chill, music was at a good volume to hear the other person talking.
Great place for a date night! Great wine and I love the fresh flowers on the table! Our sever was awesome
Nice atmosphere. The service was friendly, the food was excellent and in my opinion still reasonable given the recent inflation. They had nice heaters on the back patio and even made an effort to bring someone a blanket when the temperature dropped late in the evening. Live entertainment was unique but she had a pretty voice and could play guitar. I don’t give 5 stars often but if your in the mood for a nice place, food, and wine I would recommend.
